Talking Weeds are wearing me out!

Wow, today I decided to tackle that spot in my yard (ok, just one of themany spots) that is so overgrown and terrible that EVERYTHING had to go. I started pulling, and clipping, and digging. You know what I found out? Im stronger than I thought, and weeds can kick my butt!!

One area down, many more to go. Sounds like another area of my life!!

I consider gardening to be my strength training. I have built so much muscle from all the heavy work I do out in my garden, it's actually kind of amazing.

Same here-my back is killing me from weeding a couple days ago! No matter how cold the spring, the weeds will still grow just fine-lol! I agree that it is a good workout-lots of bending and pulling

I understand completely I live in the west Phoenix area and this winter/spring we got 3 times as much rain as we normally do. I would go out spray the weeds in the late evening the next morning I would go out and pull them. Then it would rain an 2 days later the weeds were back it was a never-ending cycle. Thankfully its warming up we hit 100 yesterday which should bring a close to a majority of my weed problems till late fall.

OMG, the weeds here in my yard here in Seattle are trying to kill me! I have spent days and days pulling weeds, but each time I look in the garden they are a foot taller and spread much further than before. I had a nervous break down yesterday and started crying when I was sitting in my shade garden pulling weeds and looking out into my veggie garden with the weeds choking the poor little drowned veggies. Ok, there might have been some hormones involved in that tantrum :-P
