Default Back!

I'm back! It seems that every time I get into dieting "life" derails me (I blame the moving, death in the family and crazy finals).

I got on the scale this morning (its been packed...for a while :P) and had GAINED quite a few pounds (more then I'm willing to admit to until a day or two without salt) and realized I need to get my butt back to the beach.

So, after pondering a plan of attack all day ... I'm back (officially the day after tomorrow, since I literally outside of vegetables have nothing on plan in the house...I'm kind of...on the jitney right now?).

So ladies, anyone else starting phase one within the next couple days? anyone ON phase one have any tips that I could use to be more successful this time in phase one?

As someone who tried and failed Phase 1 a couple times...

the key to my success this time has been making sure I have lots of beans (frequently once a day, but atleast every day) and having my dairy. I mix plain yogurt with splenda and some extract (vanilla, lemon, orange, etc) and have that each afternoon around 2. This time, it's been very easy to stick to, and I haven't gotten the SB flu. Make sure to eat all your veggies, and stay creative in the kitchen. You can do this!

Welcome!

Hi Jenny aka 8675309...I'm following you. I'm going to be starting SB again. Me and fat smash just didn't get along that well. I don't know how much I've gained in the last month but I know I've gained....soooo...here I am.

sbweezy- you have to try it. Plain plain yogurt is foul, nasty stuff that just shouldnt be eaten. But with two packs of splenda and just an eensy bit of lemon or vanilla extract- it's super tasty. Promise. I like it better than regular yogurt now.

welcome back! i have recently started phase one and the way i stick to it by adding one item of my favorite foods into my dinner plan... for instance cheese or honey. that way i dont get tempted to cheat and i look forward to dinner time!

yogurt tastes really good with brown sugar as well!

I didn't know that you could have honey and brown sugar on P1 ? I thought the point of p1 was to de-sugar?

You can't have brown sugar or honey. Honey is too high on the glycemic index. Once you hit phase two you can have agave nectar it reminds me of honey just a lot less thick.
