Default Boca Black bean burgers

I assumed they were phase 1 friendly but its not listed on the Boca website as SB friendly..hmmmmm Was hoping they were..any other suggestions

Please check the ingredients against the Revised Phase I Food List. They may be OK although a bit high in sodium.

I don't have a package of these handy right now, but I believe they contain brown rice, which is not allowed on Phase 1. So you will have to wait until Phase 2 to enjoy these.

There is a recipe for mashed red beans in the Supercharged book that can be made into patties. It looks pretty easy and I bet you could substitute black beans for the red beans. Maybe try making some of those ahead for the week?

I'm entering phase 2 on Monday. I haven't hated phase 1, but I'm looking forward to a little more flexibility.

Fluff - I assumed that the Morningstar Farms Grillers were Ph. 1. I used those whenever it called for Beef. I also used their ground griller bits for things like the taco bake (which my family LOVES). I love their Black bean burgers, but assumed they were at least Ph2 due to the little corn pieces.
