Default 1 Mile

I finally did it. I ran a mile on the treadmill!! I've been running but only 1/4 or 1/2 mile since early Feb. I decided to push myself today and I did it. It took me 15mins on 4.2 but I did it. I wanted to shout but there were too many people in the cardio room.

That is so awesome!!! I don't have the courage to actually jog at the gym...in front of other people. Hopefully I'll be able to do that soon.

Way to go! That must have felt so wonderful!!!

That is awesome grats!

I look so funny when I run and usually end up running out of breath after 1 block lol. I have been trying to go for at least 5 min at a time. slowly but surely.

Congrats! That is awesome. I don't have the courage to jog in public either, but I'm working on it. You're an inspiration.

congrats! first time running a full mile is a huge accomplishment! I was there myself about 8 months ago - and have now run a 5k and am training for longer distance. Celebrate your success and keep up the great work - nothing can stop you if you stick with it!
