I think general fat loss and toning up helps get rid of it. As far as i know cellulite is just uneven deposits of fat, and can be reduced with general weight loss. Walking will probably help, because it will tone things up. Though i am no expert.

I’ve definitely noticed a decrease in cellulite as I’ve lost weight. I’m not sure if drinking water contributes to that, but I do drink a ton of water every day, so maybe so. I’ve also heard that dry brushing helps? I’ve never tried it, but I’ve been thinking about it…just not sure what kind of brush to use!

In my opinion/experience, NO - nothing "gets rid of" cellulite. I've gone down (up/down/up/down) in weight for years. The cellulite is there, regardless. I've seen tiny little women - YOUNG women (in their teens!) who weigh no more than a 110 pounds, that have cellulite. It's not a "fat" issue - it's a "skin" issue. Even liposuction won't totally get rid of it.

And dadgum! - how depressing is that?

BUT! - YES, losing weight DOES help, plus you can do certain exercises to help - certain massages help, skin brushing, lotions with caffeine, etc... but nope... nothing gets rid of it.

This is the kind of brush I use - and like I said above, it hasn't gotten rid of my cellulite, but it does kinda help. It's something about the natural bristles... and if you do try it, take my advice and be gentle with yourself! - at first, until you get used to it. Now that I do it nearly every day, I'm used to it & I love how it feels, but the 1st few times, I was like "OUCH!!!!" -

what's helped with mine is messaging and buying creams. i buy the nivea goodbye cellulite cream and massage my legs with it 2x a day. i'm not sure if it's the actual lotion, or the messaging that helps, but it does) I also drink a lot of water and exercise. My cellulite is not gone, and it never will be completely gone, but it definitely has gotten less severe

As someone said, nothing just gets rid of cellulite completely. A very thin person can still have cellulite. It's caused by subcutaneous fat (or adipose tissue) underneath your skin and the connective tissues. It doesn't take much fat to have it show. You can't ever get rid of it completely, but you can reduce the size and appearance of it.
