It seems for me this will be a year of reuniting with old friends from high school and college. I have had several requests from friends of the past to get together...and I say, Why Not? Of course, the thought has crossed my mind that I have gained weight since our last encounter, but I am who I am and I won't allow the weight to define me or to keep me from opportunities that are so rare.

Have any of you ever reunited with people from the past and wondered what they would think of your additional weight or do you just roll with it and see what happens?

I freak out. I have a wedding to attend in October. Friends & old ex-boyfriend gonna be there... ahhh...

I also have a wedding to attend to in October. I'm super nervous, I have lost a lot of weight since the last time they saw me but I'm still scared of what they are going to think.

Currently, its only an issue with people I've known and then lost touch with for a long time...like before the age of 13.

I think everyone wonders how their friends see them. Its hard for people to not be able to see the major changes you've made just because losing 20lbs doesn't change the 40lb gain overall. But really, friends just want to see you and most don't care about a couple (or a lot) of extra lbs.
