A few days early, but I decided to start it off now anyway since it's a Monday. =)
I got a little bit of interest in an INO challenge in the topic I posted asking if anyone would like to start a challenge with me, and I hope that others will join too. The idea is pretty simple, it's just about taking the things that we know we shouldn't do but still tend to debate about and remind ourselves that It's Not an Option. No more "well maybe just this one time..." because It's Not an Option.
I'm going to post my INO's daily, but they can be for the week, month, etc.
I really do hope someone will join me!
Today's INOs,
INO: to skip my workout today. I'm still sick but I can do something active for at least thirty minutes. INO: not to count all of my calories. Every single bite. Even if 20 calories or so doesn't make a big difference in the long run, it's not only about calories consumed but staying accountable to myself. INO: to eat the left-over pizza. INO: to have ANY kind of candy, except for a small piece of dessert at book discussion.
INO to find a reason not to do deep water aerobics AT LEAST three time a week INO to put off working out AT LEAST two additional days/week INO to eat any of DH/DD's junkfood INO to keep putting off looking for a lifting plan INO to keep any of my fat clothes...when they get too big get rid of them!
I didn't to too well on my INOs last night. I ended up skipping my workout because the opportunity to talk with a friend came up and I decided to do that instead. BUT I still should have been able to fit it in. I allowed myself to use the excuse that I didn't feel well. Bad, bad bunneh....And I also ended up having a piece of the leftover pizza. Although remembering it was an INO did keep me from going back for more.
Today will be better.
Today's INOs:
INO: not to drink all of my water. INO: to go over my calories. INO: not to workout for at least 30 minutes. Even if I just do yoga, I need to make taking the time out of my day a habit again. It will make nights like last night much easier.
My name is Tracy. I would love to join in on your challenge....
I have been working on weight loss for a while now, but things have really slowed down though I know it's my fault! I am not recording my food intake like I should. I have been half hearted the last few months and it shows!
My daily goal for April will be:
It's Not an Option to track my food each and every day! Even if is an eating incident write it down!
I will add other INO as needed!
This is an important one that I need to do in order to finish up this weight loss and stay on track during maintenance!
I'm glad so many people are joining in! Welcome to all the new people. =D
Good job on making your INOs knobhdy!
I almost didn't make my exercise INO yesterday, but forced myself to get up at 10:40 last night and did random aerobics moves to bouncy music. My cough is almost completely gone now so I'm going to start gradually increasing the intensity of my workouts again. I hope that by next weekend I can start my jogging attempt!
Today's INOs, INO: to eat anything unless I can rationalize it by some nutritional benefits. IE, no candy! INO: to skip my workout. INO: to get depressed about weight loss and use it as an excuse to give up. I can't always control how I feel, but I can control how I act about it.
Yay! It's officially April! =) It's a new month and spring is finally starting to show outside. A wonderful opportunity to start fresh and really make some progress.
I had INOs for yesterday, but I never got around to posting them here. I did manage to ignore all easter candy yesterday though, and had a pretty good workout considering I was sooo tired and I still can't seem to shake this tiny vestige of a cough.
My INOs for today,
INO: to skip working out. If I managed to do it yesterday, I can do something today. INO: to cheat on my calories. Everything must be logged. Even if I go over I have to log exactly how much over I am. INO: to speak (or think) negatively about my progress. As long as right now I am doing good and trying my best mess ups in the past don't matter AT ALL.
I hope everyone is off to a great start this month!
I didn't mention it here but my INO for yesterday was INO to eat the munchkins my coworker brought in. And I didn't!
Today's INO: INO: to skip push-ups today INO: to do any other exercise today (I often over work myself, so I need to enforce a rest day sometimes) INO: Eat any Easter candy before Easter (This one will be an INO for tomorrow too )
Today's INOs, INO: not to count all my calories. INO: to skip my workout. If I could go on a three hour bike ride yesterday I can make myself do something today. INO: not to drink all of my water.
