Wonderful loss!

At first (the first 2 or 3 weeks) I lost 4-6 pounds. After that it's been between 1/2 and 2 lbs. I try to not have a huge expectation every week for a huge loss. Some weeks it's nothing and then the loss shows up the next week. I think it's really that each person loses so differently. But - generally most folks lose their biggest amounts at the beginning of their healthy eating.

Keep up the great work....

Congratulations on your loss! My loss varies too, I think everyone's does. That is why I weigh myself only at the end of the month.

If you stay consistent with your cardio and do some resistance training on the abs, you should see results. For me, it seems like the things I want smaller first are the last to go (my hips!).

Great job!

You're doing GREAT!!!!! Keep it up.I started on March 1st, 2010 and have lost weight and I am assured it's at the proper pace, I just expected more.......what's INTERESTING though is that throughout a week my weight fluxuates adn then it settles and drops and then fluxuates to that number so when I started at 261 the first few weeks I would loose but would bounce between 255 and 260 then drop, now I bounce between 250 and 255 - so that top number is dropping.

However I have lost 4 inches in my waist! So I feel the progress with my clothes, so THAT part is awesome

My numbers ARE going down, I just have to keep reminding myself to keep at it and that it does take time.

GREAT JOB!

Congrats on your loss! Be patient with the belly. I'm an apple shape and my belly was huge so it was definitely the part of my body I had to be the most patient with. If you keep plugging away it will definitely come off.

I stuck to my plan like glue and the weight loss still varied from week to week; I could never figure out why.

Congrats! My loss varies from week to week - it has slowed down some now but still losing! I still have some of a tummy and just keep hoping if I just keep running eventually it will go away lol
