I've lost 20 pounds =] *pictures*.
Yeah, today I got on my scale and it said I've lost 20 pounds. I'm kinda happy kinda not because I don't see too much of a difference other than when I don't have clothes on I can see my collar bone a bit more. .
This is me at 266:
And 20 pounds later:
I know it's not like a massive amount of weight gone but I never thought I'd even be able to lose 20 pounds!

Good for you!!! Be proud of yourself! I find I see a more dramatic difference if I take before and after pictures wearing the same clothes with the same background. I think if you do that you will see a difference. Same time of day helps sometimes as I feel thinner in the morning.

Thanks for the encouragement, I just feel a little hurt that I don't see anything yet, really. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I know that I'll see more results when I lose more. Thanks for the suggestions Helen, I'll take some pics with them on the next time I exercise.

Great work. You look thinner in the hips already! Keep going...you can do it. And other people usually see more change than we do ourselfves

Use the scale for inspiration at first you'll notice in the mirror and then your on your way. It becomes a fun way to screw with peoples minds as you lose weight as they try to figure out whats going on.

Good job! 20 lbs is awesome! Don't get discouraged because you can't see it! It always seems to take us longer to see it in ourselves even though everyone else can see it..keep up the great work!!

20 lbs is awesome! And just think - you see yourself every day, it's hard to notice the changes. People who don't see you all the time probably notice a huge difference. Keep it up, you're obviously doing well!

um. . .. they say that people who are losing the weight have the hardest time seeing where they've lost it, because I can clearly see you have lost weight!
you can really tell in your middle! AMAZING!
keep up the wonderful work hun!

I can see a difference between you in the first pictures and the last ones. It is possible that pictures with the same clothes will help you to notice the differences more, like Helen said. Sometimes for us is difficult to see our changes. I have lost 18 pounds and I did not see any difference in the mirror. However, my clothes fit better and my husband says that he can see that I have lost weight. I know that when we will be closer to our goals each pound lost will become more noticeable.

Congrats! 20 is a big milestone! I can see it!
To help you see it...
Take measurements. When you take your pictures, take them in the same pose in the same clothes or even a bathing suit, against a plain background.
It is easier for you to tell the difference in photos when all other variables are the same.
