Now that you don't eat...what do you do with your spare time?
I guess this is a question for those of us who are/were emotional eaters/bored eaters. Here is a list of some of the stuff I'm doing instead of stuffing my face (unless it's on plan of course!)
1. Exercising!
2. Posting on 3FC way too often!
3. Looking for new recipies
4. Obsessing over my food journal
5. Going through my closet looking for clothes that are too big to donate!
Looking at the 3FatChicks and Daily Strength Hypothyroidism forums.
Also I look at ShopGoodwill on the internet
planning my meals
exercising
reading
crocheting--helps keep mind and hands busy.
I love surfing the web for diet tricks and reading on 3FC!! Also, I love calculating days and tracking my weight loss and miles ran and stuff in my daily food journal.
..but to be honest, most of the time that I would have spent eating back in my out-of-control days, I now spend THINKING about eating and wishing it was time to eat and counting down the minutes until eating is going to happen again. I'm workin on it! I really need to find something I enjoy besides food xD
Hanging out here way too much!
Working out (I do my workout right after I get home from work. The old me would sit on the couch and munch on junk food until it was time to make dinner.)
Waiting impatiently for spring!
I stopped watching so much TV because that was when I would eat. SO, instead, I read, type on the computer, exercise, clean the house...I try to keep my hands busy.
Playing video games! Ha, I'm such a geek... but seriously, you can't eat when you are playing a baseball game on the PS3. I am also building a dollhouse. Can't eat with a paintbrush or a bottle of glue in your hand.
I play games too!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like playing UNO on Facebook. It keeps me busy. I should be cleaning and I do more often now but I try to enjoy my Non-Eating times
I play warcraft with my hubby, but we always did that. I'm also learning how to knit. Play more with my son, he's getting to be so mobile and it's making ME more mobile lol
I try to make time every day to read. ( Currently reading The Poisonwood Bible - which I highly recommend.)
When my hubby is home we play video games together or he helps me try to make sense of my physics homework!
I play computer games while I wait for dinner to cook, I distract myself with projects. I like having my hands busy with knitting, that seems to be the best for me to "think through" why I don't need to eat.
