Deviled eggs and tuna salad...
...I can finally have them again! I love mine with sweet pickle relish which is obviously out now, and dill relish horrifies me. Years ago I discovered Mount Olive No Sugar Added relish which is sweetened with Splenda, and although I generally try to avoid artificial sweetners, this is one of the exceptions I make for the sake of taste. Years ago when I did SBD I used to buy it at Albertson's, but I have not been able to find it this time around.
UNTIL NOW! My darling, wonderful husband went to Brookshire's, which we have never shopped at before, and God love him he checked out their pickle aisle since he knows I've been looking. And he found them! He bought 4 jars!
You would have thought I had won the lottery when he showed them to me! Shreiked like a mad woman. I just finished making my deviled eggs and can't wait to have them in the AM with my veggie sausage patties.
Random happy moment for me, just wanted to share.

woohoo! I tell ya that's one of my favorite things about SB!
The girls at work who are doing weight loss with me grumble that I'm eating devilled eggs and sauteed veggies while they are eating wilted lettuce lol. I'm like as long as it's low carb it's within my plan! Obviously nothing too greasy either though.

mm..love the tuna stuffed eggs..I actually make mine with fat-free Miracle Whip and then sweeten dill relish with splenda myself..I don't use the yolks since I am a calorie counter but my dog sure loves 'em !

That is so funny you mentioned that about your dog. Mine was going crazy while I was peeling the eggs. I have never seen him act like that! Apparently boiled eggs are his crack, LOL!

Thanks for posting this! I love relish in my tuna salad and never thought to look for sugar free kind. I have just been adding apples instead but it's not the same!

Awwww, that was sooo nice of him! I can't find my Cannefield's Chocolate Soda any more and DW found three in the "bargain" bin at the store (guess they are no longer selling them) and bought them for me. I savored every one!
YAY!

That sounds so good to me. I have two more days to go in Phase I. Never had a dog that went after boiled eggs, but my dog enjoyed a cooked or raw egg.
Keep on going

He is a mutt (head of a dachund, body of an italian greyhound, color of a yellow lab, tail of a pug, so a true heinz 57!) He was going crazy with his "sniffer" in overdrive and looking at me with this wild look in his eyes! Absolutely hysterical!

Congrats on finding that relish! I'm going to have to hunt for it.
I love people talking about their dogs and whether they will eat eggs ... mine will eat eggs any way you make them, but then again, he'll eat anything!

I do my deviled eggs a little differently than most. I put in very crisp tiny pieces of turkey bacon, creole seasoning, brown mustard and some mayo..tastes like spicey bacon and eggs!

One thing I love about SB is eggs! I eat them almost every day! My dogs like to get in your face and smell your breath. They love it when I've eaten eggs!
