Default Calories in Tangerines

I have been on several sites trying to find out how many calories are in a tangerine. Can anyone tell me. I bought some over the weekend and I want to make sure I am counting them correctly.

Really depends on the size. I have seen counts as low as 10calories for an ounce. I would estimate most of them to be about 20-30 calories.

They are 31 calories and 0.1 grams fat according to this site....

Oh darn, I can't post links yet. I just hate that. Anyhow, just google "calories tangerine" and some good sites will come up. I trust "thecaloriecounter" That is where I got the 31 cals from
That is for a 70g tangerine, weighed with the skin on I imagine. Do you have a food scale? They are great for making sure you are calculating the right portion

I hope that helps

It depends on the size - a medium tangerine is about 50 calories, so you can estimate up or down from that depending on what size the ones you have are. Those little Cuties clementines are 35 calories.

If you have a good kitchen scale then peel it and weigh it - 1 calorie per gram. If you do not feel the need to be so exact or do not have a scale then a small one is 40 calories, medium is 47, and large is 64.
