At the end of November, I made a secret goal (almost secret to myself) to get to 235 by the end of the year. It was a secret goal because I don't think that timed goals are a great idea for me, if I had gotten to 236, that would have also been great, but I would have felt like a failure, etc.
So it was more, "I'm going to shoot for 235, I think I can do it, if I do, it would be awesome, but if not, oh well."
I was at 235 last week---but with Christmas, going out of town, etc, I was concered about a slight gain. I did my best--and I won! 232.9! Woohoo! Plus, losing two pounds over Christmas is amazing to me!
It's good to go into the New Year with confidence!
