Default Avatar !!!

My phone has been counting down the days to Avatar for over a month now, and FINALLY today was the day!

It was so amazingly epic. A spectacular movie, a great plot, and visual effects that will knock you on your butt.

We saw it at IMAX 3D.

Run, as fast as you can, to your closest movie theatre! Run for your lives!

It was really good. You couldn't have PAID me to see it in 3D though..... I find it too much of a hit and miss... because a lot of movie theatre 3D is still done with those red and blue glasses, which I can't stand for more than 2 minutes. I can only use the GOOD 3D glasses that are like sunglasses.
Anywho, I really liked it. The graphics were so realistic! My only regret is that my friend wanted to leave right after the movie.. I admit it, I'm a credit watcher. I enjoy the anticlimax.. I like to sit there, slowly drifting back to reality, while I calmly reflect on life and step away from everything for a moment. I hate the movie ending and abruptly leaving.. it's too unsettling to me. But the friend I was with didn't seem like much of a credit watcher... too bad, too. The song they were playing was pretty.

IMAX has the 3D glasses that are like sunglasses. The thing I LOVED about the 3D was it wasn't stuff flying in your face freaking you out. James Cameron used it to immerse you in the movie, so it felt like you were standing in the middle of this awesome forest, instead of having bullets and spears shooting past your head.

I can't get past how spectacular the movie is. I haven't had a "wow" moment about a movie since the seeing Star Wars in the theatre as a child, and this movie blew me away.

I didnt even know they still used those old 3D glasses. All the theaters I've been to use the new sunglass type ones now.

I saw the movie tonight. It was very beautiful. Beautiful story and beautiful visuals. I just love the tribe feeling of the natives and I loved how they were able to connect to the animal and plant life.
I didn't see it in 3D..as it's three hours to the nearest Imax...I think It would have been great though.

I saw it in 3D (they had the good 3d glasses) and agree with the general consensus here -- it was awesome!

I saw it last night In 3D I already wear glasses, so it was glasses over glasses and not too comfy; but worth it
Amazing visuals, characters; storyline- not THAT original, but definately works well with every other aspect of the film. It was incredibly beautiful, and moving

OOH! I can't wait to see it! Only problem is my Mum won't want to see it and I don't think my dad really wants to.

Need to make more friends who like this kind of movie. They all like chick-flicks which I THOUROUGHLY HATE. LOL
