Question Are you going to make your New's Years Day Goal?

Hey guys!
I see the New Year's Goal thread isn't getting much attention. How is everyone doing on their New Years Goal? I met mine early so I am working on another one. I now want to get to 80 pounds gone by January 1st. One and a half pounds to go. I really think I will make it!
How about you? Was your goal to maintain and you did it? Or to lose a few pounds? Dont make the holidays an excuse to gain, it will only be that much more to lose when we make our next resolutions!!
Only ten more days until Jan 1!!

I made my New Year's goal, but my goal now through the rest of the holidays is to maintain, get in all my water, & exercise. I'm going to try to stay on plan for food, but not kill myself if I go over tomorrow & Christmas Day.

my goal is still 6 pounds away. since i went up and then back down the five pounds at my birthday, i didn't really chip away at it.

it's still my goal, but i'm not going to die of disappointment if i don't make it. but if i do break into the two-teens (less than 220) i'll be happy.

Kayla-I am so happy that you made your goal and only four pounds away from 100!! How cool is that??

Jenniffer-I am sending lots of determination your way! The only reason I am doing so well right now is because of this new dating thing in my life. Right now I am so focused on getting to 200. I am almost obssesed with this. Once I get below 200 I will no longer be the O word (obese!)

gonzostar-stick with your plan-it can happen or atleast you can come closer to it!!

hey it's almost Christmas Eve-I can't believe it!!

I made my New Year's Goal this week, hope to maintain during this week, and have even gone ahead and set new goals for next year.

AArgh! I was so close to my goal...just two more pounds and then I blew it big time over the past two or three days. I'm UP 4 pounds! Good grief.

So today I'm getting back in step. I just downed my first bottle of water and I'm getting ready to have a little breakfast. I'm going to the gym this evening with my sister, too.

I really don't want to continue this pattern into the new year. You know, work my tail off to lose a few pounds only to eat myself into oblivion and gain it back in a matter of days. Anybody relate to this? Any suggestions for avoiding it?!

Sigh,
Christy--who refuses to change her signature right now

Christy - Your eating plan might be too restrictive. I know that if I get too restrictive, it leads to serious binge eating. Good for you, though, for jumping right back on the wagon.
