I finally have decided to go forward with the band. But I'm so nervous about the Psych Eval. I'm bipolar and sever anxiety. I have gone through a lot this year and my depression got worse than ever. I'm now stabilized but I worry the Dr won't see it that way.
I hope it goes well. Just wanted to vent my nerves abit.

Deep Breath! tell the evaluator exactly how you feel. Honesty if the best policy.

carrie - honey - just be honest with the evaluation. make sure the person knows that you've been VERY good at keeping on your meds and taking care of yourself.

please realize that you MIGHT need a dose adjustment as you lose weight, which also means that you'll have to pay close attention to your symptoms/side effects/whatever.

don't worry - you'll be fine.

Thanks It went great he was very nice and understanding and he said he'll send the approval to the insurance!!
