I'm quite introverted as well. But WW works great for me. You don't weigh-in in front of a group of people. You are weighed in by one person (a WW employee, and all of their employees are successful members). Then you go into the meeting room and your group leader goes over weight loss celebrations and the week's meeting topic with you. You don't have to talk. You can give yourself time to get warmed up to the group. I talk a lot in my meetings now. But there are lots of others that still don't, and no one makes them talk. Just being there is a great way to absorb tips and ideas, and if you have a question, you've got a room full of people there to help.
Or you can join WW online and have access to all their etools and whatnot, without going to meetings.
Oh and as mentioned above, there are no points ranges anymore. And points are calculated on more than just your height and weight (gender, age, and occupation also factor in)
