Ammi - WAY TO GO -80 POUNDS!! :carrot: :cb: :carrot:
You'll be at -100 in no time...what's your secret?!?! :D Your pics are awesome - Congrats!

Hi Ladies - Off to the DR's in 5 minutes...I feel stupid going to a walk-in (couldn't get an appointment for today) for something that's probably nothing, but it's been bugging me to pieces for a couple days now, so for my own sanity I am going. *sigh* Well yesterday was good calorie wise AND for sure exercise wise. :) I am hoping to get in a 25-30 minute walk home from the DR's today, and depending on how I feel I might try for another one of 15+ minutes later on night when John gets home from work (330-1030pm shift). I'm so proud of him - he's doing so well...he seems to be getting "primed" to become the assistant manager by the looks of it!! :o And considering the manager "left" to go to school full-time and the old assistant manager is now the acting manager...that means the assitant manager position is free and open! Maybe they will ask him to move up later this year! :) Well, anyways, that's what's on my agenda - I'm off to get ready to leave now! Hope everyone is doing well!
Stay OP chickies!

Melissa

 Hi all, I have been doing so well since my wonderful weigh in on Saturday. I am trying the Weight Watchers plan again. Last week I did the Curves plan and after sitting through the meeting on Saturday at WW I am determined to give it another try. So far it is going really well. Every single thing I have put in my mouth I have counted as points. It is 12:02 p.m. and I have only 2 more glasses of water to drink for the day! I am heading down to Curves as soon as I finish writing this. Then back to my bike. lol a good day seems to be coming for me today. Hopefully all of you will be blessed as well.

Luan, Brandnewme and Val: Big hugs  to you both. Please hang in there.

Amanda: Congrats on -3 more.:carrot:

Nancy: I loved cute overload. Thanks for the link.

Ammi: Congrats on -3 more!!!:carrot: 80 pounds is so wonderful. I see that 100 mark just around the bend. Maybe even before Christmas!

Lilion: So sorry about your nephew:^: Maybe he could go into public speaking to help/teach children about the dangers of fireworks or? I'll be praying he does well.

Kim: Congrats on reaching your first 10%:carrot: Way to go.

Patty: Today is a new day. You can do it sweetie. ;) Are you still walking on your treadmill?

Sharon:  feel better soon.

Vicki: So glad to see you back. Congrats on maintaining :D

Nellie: Great new clothes NSV. I loved it. :) Congrats.

Amy: Wonderful Job working out at Curves and being so on target! :carrot:

Kenya: Wowie girl. I love your new photo. You are so beautiful! Your accomplishments in weight loss while being a student make my head spin:dizzy: excellent job.

Alice: Good luck at the Dr. office

Sandy: Don't let anyone spoil your mother of the Bride status! Enjoy your time! ;)

Misti: Oh, please don't feel like you have foot in mouth. lol I was just trying to let you know that it isn't always what you weigh that dictates your fitness level. I feel your pain about the water aerobics class not being a good workout. I was going for 6 months and only lost 15 pounds because the workouts were to whimpy for me. Even the advanced classes. So, I made the decision to swim laps by myself and do some water weights and water situps etc. I lost 80 pounds in the same time frame. (Unfortunately I gained it all back when I went through a big bout of depression) but, that was the best idea for me to go on my own. I assume that you too are in better shape than your classes you are attending. Too bad you can't teach a class and really give a great workout to them. Have you thougth about doing that? Maybe they would give you a discount or even a free membership if you taught a class or two?

Blessings all, be op and have a great day.
annie

Manda :woo:  Great Job!!!

Valerie, I had to  when I read your note. What is up with these kids? We really did try to raise them with a work ethic, honesty etc. ARGH! Tighten your seatbelt for wedding drama! It's no fun. Especially if the birth mom is competative or feels she deserves all the credit. ( i have another SD getting married 11/06. i dread it too)
It's almost fun to sit back and watch them hang themselves isn't it.

All in all I've had a great day. OP all day....I'm very proud of myself for that! :carrot:
I know the day isn't over yet, but I have a plan and feel like I can do the plan for the next 6 hours til bed time.
Isn't it cool that every time we stay OP it's like a present to ourselves! :gift:

Hope all are having a good Monday. It means we'll have a great week!!

Ammi- yeah- 80 pounds- that’s awesome! :bravo: before you know it you will be at 100! I’m sorry your SD is giving you such trouble- kids are just a handful, even if they are good kids- I’m learning with my SS, Franky who is 6. I would have never guessed about your name- I just thought that was cool way of spelling it, but I really like Ann-Marie, that’s a beautiful name, but I’m sure people do get lazy- they even shorten my name Kimberly (not that I care, I do it too!) I had a great aunt that had a colostomy (sp?) and while she had days that she hated it, in general she never really seemed to care, and we all forgot she had it in the first place. I’m sure it sucks- but I’m glad you don’t let it get you down too often. BTW- pics look great- you can really see the difference!! Thanks for the update on Zelma- I was out of it for a bit and must have missed her post. I’m glad to hear she is ok.

Sandy- thanks for the comments- I have to say yes- It does make a huge difference when someone notice your progress. I didn’t think that instructor knew that I was there, and to think that she considered me a regular- it meant so much! Hope you get to feeling better and that the wedding stress doesn’t get you sicker. I did a flu shot today (work gave out the free ones for the first 300ppl) so hopefully I will avoid getting ill this year!

I love what you said “every time we stay OP it’s like a present to ourselves!” I never thought about it that way- but you are right, it does make you feel as good as a present would!!

Vicki- I’m pretty sure I haven’t met you yet- :welcome3: back!!! It’s funny that you say you have to get back to they gym- I’ve noticed that for about everyone on here it’s the exercise that they have trouble with, and I’m the opposite, I can go to the gym religiously without too much trouble, it’s the food that’s my real problem. Well good luck with the gym. Oh- about Zelma, she didn’t win, but she did get a lot of mail from readers and another article done, so she’s really been able to inspire a lot of people, even without winning.

Nelie- you should be proud, being able to control your portions naturally- I hope I get there soon. Sounds like you had a great weekend- and size 20 pants is great- for me a size 20 shirt will fit now, but it’s the pants that are my problem area, size 26 right now!

Amanda- :bravo: :cheer: How great to be down 17 pounds in one month! And all those inches!!! Keep it up!

Melissa- good luck at the Dr’s!! If your body doesn’t feel right its never stupid, even if it seems small, you have to take care of yourself!

Annie- Good luck with WW- from what I’ve seen if you can count points it’s a great plan! I tried the curves plan once and it didn’t work to well for me, WW is probably way better!

As for me- I've had a decent day- I've stayed OP! Stressful work day and of course I didn't get out near when I had planned and I am officially 45 minutes behind schedule for this afternoon- which pushes homework time out so I can go to my class- oh well, I just hope I can get caught up somewhere in here! Have a good one- I'll check in after I excercise to post my minutes and say goodnight!
