Hello All!

A really quick pop-in. They are coming down rather hard on us at work and I'm the farthest behind. Although right now, getting fired wouldn't really be the end of the world! I'm so tired of my bosses....and the government for which I work. Do you know they no longer cover BIRTH CONTROL with Medicaid in Missouri? Of course, abortion is also pretty much illegal. WTH? I guess the poor people are expected to either abstain or to have MORE babies to put on welfare! Sorry, IMO the ONE medication that should be definately covered by state-sponsored insurance is birth control! :mad:

Okay...a rant that makes my short post longer. I best stop that. I've been obsessing over a recent interest of my husband in moving - to WYOMING! Not that there's anything wrong with Wyoming - I've been there - it's nice. It also has a total of about 500,000 in the entire huge state! I kinda like people, you know? Anyway, my obsessing has been done over on the Old Hen's board. Feel free to go read it there! :D

Diet - so-so. Water - with meals is about it. Exercise - what's that? Too busy and stressed to get much done about anything.

Maria Lucia: Try a grocery store with a bakery. They often have somewhat "normal" sized cookies.

Kayley: Hon, I hope you get to feeling better! :hug: FWIW - I doubt swimsuit shopping is going to help though. I'd certainly not do that when I was already feeling down on myself.

Maria...single cookies...that's a conspiracy if ever I heard one! I have seen them before at Subway and Sharkey's and yeah, there is always the bakery. I used to love going to the grocery store when I was a kid...I always got a free cookie from the bakery clerk. My treats lately have ben Luna Bars. They are 3 points each but they are filling and much more on the healthy side. Some of the flavors are sooooo good. Some are eh. And compared to a lot of the other bars they are lower in calories. The Pria bars are less calories but they are also way smaller.

Kayley...so proud of you for going bathing suit shopping!! That's a trip that for me usually ends with me huddled on the dressing room floor in tears. Sorry to hear about your friend. It's so hard to deal with the death of a friend, especially when they are so young and it was unexpected.

I have a nasty tummy ache...and I am cooking such a yummy dinner too. I made pancakes this morning from a recpie I was given...FF cottage cheese, oats and eggs...I tossed in a little vanilla and splenda and some frozen berries. They were yummy...a little sloppy but I'll try again. This weekend will kick my butt...wish me luck!!!
