I walked for 25 minutes this morning, but quit cuz it really wasn't a great place. I'd already chased off a junky/hooker looking for handouts, and then walked near a cop who was giving a motorist a driving award until he finished and went on his way. Thankfully most places aren't that seedy, but I was in a really foul mood the whole time I was walking cuz I had to watch all around me, and I was gonna be dangerous if that woman approached me one more time. I had the dog with me off course, but he's just a collie-mix cream puff of a dog. I did locate the rent-a-cop on duty and he chased the junky off the premises, but chose to spend teh rest of the morning studying. Ah, well, 25 + 4302 = 4327 |
Did pretty well on the exercise again today.
40 mins on treadmill in morning, 35 mins on exercise bike in afternoon, followed by 5 mins stepping. I also walked to spend some time with hubby in his lunch break - 10 mins there and back, so another 20 mins. Still plodding along with the housework. Can't wait till it's all finished - suppose I'll have to start all over again then huh? Group total - 4327 + 100 = 4427 Hope to hear that everyone else is having an 'active' day. |
3 hours of sweaty work yesterday. Was too tired to come in and post it last night, though.

WOW I am amazed at all the moving and shaking going on here!
I got in 20 minutes of stretching and back exercises in tonight so: 300+ exer-total = 4607 + 20 = 4627 |
Valerie - it probably isn't a motivation anyone would choose, but I guess creepy people could make you walk faster and get a better workout.:)
I walked for 15 minutes last night, again while watchin TV. That makes my personal total 380. The group total is now: 4627 + 15 = 4642. |
Hi Everyone. Thanks for the kind words. I didn't get any exercise in Sunday as that was the day of the funeral. I did workout last night with Y!F. I did 30 mins of the normal workout then 15 mins of the physical challenge. All of you are doing so well. Keep up the great work guys!

I only have a minute. I need to update before I forget :) 30+45 =75 more minutes SO..... Personal total 345+75=420 minutes!! That January goal is getting closer!!! 180 more to go:carrot: :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: 300+ goal ~ 4687+75= 4762 minutes!!!!!! WOW!! Ok well it's the 17th of January and yesterday I did half an hour of Rosemary Conley Salsasize. I intend to do that 3 days a week, and the other 2 days I will do an hour of housework. So lets calculate, that will be 3.5 hours a week, making my montly exercise total be 14 hours a month, which is 840 minutes. My maths sucks, are my calculations right lol. I think that is a very doable goal for me, but as we are already mid way through January that means my monthly total for January will be approx 420 minutes. Much better than nothing!!
