Since the old thread was six months old and many pages, I thought I would start July 1 with clean pages to write on.
Please continuing checking and tracking on this new weekly weigh-in thread. Jump in with whatever measure of accountability fits your plan: scale, inches, body fat % etc. Post it here or on the threads. Your choice!
The 300 pounds lost goal for the group was met over a month ago. GREAT JOB on losing those pounds!!
Well, I am not happy about my date with the scale. I hit a plateau. I still weigh 243.5 lbs. after 2-weeks. I was feeling down and frustrated because of all my effort exercising and planning meals appeared to be for no reason. After some support and reading on nutrition, I am going to refocus my goals and not base them on what the scale reads. I am also going to change up my exercise routine, watch my portions and try to destress. I have had a huge knot in my back for the last week due to stress.
well....the scale is back up two....
On the upside, while the scale has gone back up...all my measurements (save my thighs) have gone down.
My waist has shrunk by 1 1/2"; hips down 5"; biceps -1/4"; triceps -1/2"; thighs stayed the same... ; calves -1"; chest -3 1/4"; and finally my neck is down 3/4"...so while the scale my not budge, the fat is going away!!!
My first week was a success! I lost 9 lbs. I know it's going to start slowing down from here on out and most of that was probably water weight but oh well - it's great motivation!
synn- I am in the same boat...I have continued to lose inches, but the scale crept back up 2 lbs...I guess I am just redistributing my last jump on the scale had me at 291 again
Well yesterday I was 268.75 and today I am at 269.5, but you know what? I am moving my tracker and that will give me incentive to get rid of that stubborn .5 lb anyway, glad to be even slightly below 270.
