I'm still hanging in there 2Cute...my feathers are getting scarce but I'm not giving up!! At least if I do gain this week it won't be 10 lbs like it would have in the past! I am trying like heck to limit my food all week so I can enjoy turkey day. My plan is like someone else said earlier. One spoonful of everything to taste it. Of course the stuffing will get a bigger spoonful and the veggies! Just a drizzle of gravy, though my sister makes it pretty lowfat! I am making pecan pie and pumpkin pie to take over and I am making me a small individual pumpkin pie to take and enjoy myself. Its only my sister, BIL, nephew and my sister's best friend and me, John and Andrew so no one is going to mind!

OK gotta go get started on the water, that seems to be the only thing I keep up with right now

Okay 2cute, today is the last day. What do we do now? Do we send our turkeys back to you? Or do you trust us to just report the number of feathers, weight loss, etc?

Well ladies... today is the last day of our TURKEY DAY CHALLENGE

Barbg ... This is totally the honor system.
We trust each other to tell the truth. LOL
No one needs to mail me anything. Just post your results here.

I totally forgot to remind everyone to give themselves the 3 bonus points for posting daily from Nov 8 till Nov 22. Don't forget those .. if you earned them.
Today is the last chance to earn your 4 daily points.

At the end of today... please post how many stickers you earned to fill up your feathers.
I hope for some it will be easier to add the blank spaces and subtract from the perfect score of 90.

I hope all of you can look back at your turkey and LEARN from it.

I learned I lost most when I stayed away from too many "special legal treats".....
.... and especially when I drank at least 64 oz of WATER and NO POP ... not even diet.

I also learned... I need to hang in there for longggg term.
I do great for a week or two.. but .... then want to go back to the easy way out.
That is one place this challenge is helping me. I cannot quit after a week or two... I have to hang in there until the end.
I learned it takes WORK. When I worked for it... I had better success.

Okay ladies... tonight when you know how to score your day.... let us know how you did.

Who collected the MOST stickers ???

I only have 57 stickers (and darn missed posting 1 day!)

But you know what, I'm happy after looking at the overall "picture" of the turkey.

I have almost ALL of my water stickers, missing only 2-4 days! Exercise comes in at a close second, and the food is the 3rd. This past week or two almost all of my stickers are filled in for every day and I'm happy about that too. That means I am changing! Thank you for this 2cute I only hope it will be a reminder that i can do this and to keep doing it.

CD ... Congratulations !!!! 57 stickers is great !!!!
That sucks that you missed one day on your bonus.

For anyone wondering if they got all the days between Nov 8 and Nov 24 just follow these simple steps.
Go up to your avatar. Click on your name above the avatar. Then click on "Find More posts by you." They will list date and every post you made in order. Quick and easy.

I added up my stickers tonight. I have a total of 72 stickers.
It actually was 66 earned... and 6 bonus.
Of course... as an unsuccessful perfectionist... I'm not totally happy with that.

I did pretty darn good the first two weeks.
Then fell short almost daily.
Plus I ended gaining some of my weight back this last week.
BUT.... I am still DOWN from my top weight.

I am looking forward to starting the Christmas Challenge and
squeeeezzzing a few more pounds off this body.

76 for me, it was that journaling that did me in. But total weight loss was only 2.5 pounds. To me that is totally dissappointing.

I disappointed myself on this challenge, but I also really saw my downfalls and learned a lot.

Turkey Feathers earned: 53
Weight Lost: 1.8

You really were a great inspiration to all of us! I kept seeing how well you were doing and then I'd look at my turkey and be motivated to do better as well May we all use you as an example for this next challenge!


We can all do this! It will be awesome!! It is time for change, success, determination, and motivation!
