Default 10 Days In The Life Boat #175

Welcome to the latest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.

This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.

My goals for this leg.
1. Stick to my set WW points
2. Use less then 1/2 of my weekly extra points
3. Make better, healthier, food choices.
4. Drink 80 oz of fluids each day.

Basically a dry day, yesterday. It was a struggle and I got splashed but did not come close to falling in.
It's been 11 straight days meeting my goals w/o hitting the water.

thanks for the welcome! barely managed to stay dry yesterday - had to tack on an evening walk for the dog to get his 1/2 mile in (time conflict in afternoon, shorter walk) and even though I started a binge and ate 4 ice cream bars when I got upset, I stayed within calorie goal because of a low cal dinner.

ugh, bad day yesterday - I think I pitched into the icy waters Titanic style and slid beneath the waves...... glub glub..........sigh (It was DH's birthday and I had half, HALF, of a ten inch Chicago style pizza- 2 slices at about 700 calories a slice) oh well, this morning I feel gross and yucky from the grease. But on the plus side, I did the exercise, including the new exercise and I am proud of that - so see you for next weeks challenge, I will try again then!

Hey Lost ....... Grab the life ring and I'll tow you in. You don't have to wait for the end of the leg. Just reset those goals in your head. Don't let one day put you off. Row. Row. Row!

I met my goals yesterday but got a tiny splash. Made some questionable food choices. 12 days POP!

OK, I can do that! On the plus side, that greasy feeling leftover from the pizza has made oatmeal and cantaloupe sound much better this morning

Bad choice yesterday. Hit the water. but managed to haul myself out, wrap up in a warm, fluffy towel and grab my oar tightly. Gotta row hard.

Hi there every one - swimming like crazy to catch up from err 2 or is it 3 weeks ago...

fell out of the boat last week (actually yesterday) and drifted off - hmm that is a nice dessert island .... whoops .... right caught up (Dear Hubby stole the pc and has been watching u-tube playing games .. darn it need to get in first again.!

was doing almost great with the WW plan then along comes hubbys poppa's 90th
oh dear there we go blow the points plus some extra ... and a whole bottle of wine later -well only 1 not 2 this time..

anyway weigh in up a little a whole half a pound :
more control at family things needed
this is after having lost 66 pounds so far...

So plans for this week are

1. Stay In my daily points allowance
2. keeping well within my weeklies points allowance
3. check in and admit bad days sooner
4. decent sleep every night
5. water as the go to drink again - less mocha's

HAPPY ROWING EVERYONE!

Karen, was that you partying on that island? I saw it yesterday while I was swimming, trying to catch up with the boat myself. Yesterday was NOT good, to put it mildly.

Back on plan today. I gorilla glued my bottom to my seat!

I fell out of the boat again this weekend too, now it will take me a bit to catch up - and boy do I have a bad food hangover this weekend. I knew all that greasy stuff with tons of dairy would make me feel awful - and yet I ate it. Still one day does not a life time make and overall, I have had fewer binges since I started eating better, so that is a positive. hopefully today goes better - row, row, row

I'm not having my best week either. Have fallen prey to fast food a couple times and went over my points snacking. The only good thing is that I've been able to still say no to donuts and pizza.

you know what, me too - I may not have eaten or exercised on plan for a couple of days, but my binges were grilled cheese sandwiches and butterless movie popcorn with a diet soda - no candy, even at the movie, so, something must be changing for the better. Still a positive attitude, while vital, will not make climbing stairs something I can do or bring my blood sugar down, so back on plan for me!
