Starting Over Again

Hi people!

We've all been there. Things were going great and then you fall off the wagon. I'm hoping this time when I get back on the horse, I stay on.

This week has been a new week, new lifestyle changes have been made. I'm hoping this time is the right time and I keep up with it. I've always loved the support from this forum so hoping this, along with WW will help me. I've even prepaid for 3 months subscription so I have to stick with it for that long, which I'm hoping will be long enough to get me back into the swing of things.

A long way to go but you can't get there if you don't start somewhere eh? :)

Big hugs to all of you!

Jennifer (28 from Newfoundland, Canada).

Hi Jennifer,

I know how you feel, for a while I was doing pretty well, but then I was like, one bad thing doesn't hurt. And it doesn't but more bad things do. And I kinda believe my metabolism is ****ed up and it comes down to exercising, and quit that too. But today is a new day and I'm gonna start again.

You can do it!

Hi Newfie Jen! I am no longer a Weight Watchers member but I have to say it is a WONDERFUL program in my honest opinion! The meetings that fit my schedule are not in my area anymore, and I personally loved that group setting & support, it is invaluable, but I have made it without, so it can be done (not sure if you're doing online or in person, but both have their virtues).

My absolute favorite Weight Watcher is Weightwatchergirl1 on Youtube tons of great advice whether you are on WW or not she started at over 300 lbs. and has lost over 160 lbs. https://www.youtube.com/user/Weightwatchergirl1 .

I am using Myfitnesspal as my tool to lose weight, so far I've lost over 80 lbs. and there are people that do both MFP & WW (or any other weight loss program) but it can be overwhelming to do both (I know because I tried ;) lol). I wish you the best in your journey, you absolutely can do this, and please don't let a bad day discourage you, you have a long life ahead of you, there will be "bad days" but just make your good days outnumber your bad, and that scale will move! <3

Thanks ladies! We can do it together, one day at a time. :)

I also recently re-started and I'm determined this is going to be my last time

Hi Jen. Welcome! Always nice to see another Canadian, eh. :D

Love your quote above. These are words I absolutely live by now.

Hi Jen! I am also a fellow Canadian from Ottawa. :)

Good for you for jumping back on and believing in yourself! It is easy enough to fall off the wagon, but much harder to get back on. You can do this! You sound like you are off to a solid start and have a great plan in place to accomplish your goals. :)
