10 Days In The Life Boat #136

  • Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.
  • These questions are keeping me POP. I'm sticking with them again.

    Goals:
Try to ask and and answer honestly before eating anything:

1 - Ask myself if I'm truly hungry.

2 - Ask myself "why" if I'm thinking about eating something I shouldn't be.

3 - Would I be proud to track it if I ate it?

4 - Is it healthy or just junk I'm eating to make me "feel better"?

5 - Would I eat it if I thought someone was watching?

6 - Am I able to find something not edible to use as a replacement if needed?

7 - Am I using my WW program properly?
  • Heavy splash yesterday. Reined myself in but not before I was gulping food that I shouldn't have had one bite of.
  • Rowing alone. I've been splashed a bit but on the whole I'm doing okay.
  • Still meeting my goals. Rowing hard and staying dry. Getting lonely though.
  • I'll try to keep you company! I am ready to get back in the boat after flailing around in the water for far too long.

    My goals are simple:
    1. weigh and measure everything I eat so I can keep accurate track of my calories.
    2. Move my padded rear! Get some exercise each day - something, anything!!
    3. Get below the E on my scale. My scale does not accurately measure my weight. I will be able to track my weight more easily once I can see a number!! I know the number is down a bit based on how my clothing fits, but the E is still there...

Tomorrow begins anew! I was on vacation for the last two weeks and actually lost some weight - did tons of walking and no snacking.
  • Welcome Karen, Grab a seat cushion and an oar. You have your pick of seats.
