My previous post has an outdated timeline. I need to remember how to change that.

So I am between getting splashed and falling out of the boat lol. I haven't exercised since my first 2 days, so I've had about 2 days off from yesterday & the day before.
My calories haven't been horrific but not great either, around 1900-2061 over yesterday & the day before. I did overindulge in chips, so I threw the remaining 14 or so single serve bags into the car to help curb me from overeating them. I had chips for dinner last night. Yesterday I weighed in at 241.4 but today I was afraid of the scale, we'll see what happens tomorrow. I want to stay on track (no more than 100 calories over my 1800 calorie allotment), and work out to Leslie Sansone for at least 5 minutes (I know it isn't a lot, but anything to get me moving).

ETA - Woman (way) overboard, by like 2,000 or so calories, oops. Seriously grocery shopping and me don't mix usually very difficult for me to be good.

Hi Elstyle! Welcome to the thread. Don't be afraid to have "wet" days. As you can see, we all have them. I, too, find the 10 days at a time easier to focus on instead of the big picture all of the time.

I weighed today - yikes! I've lost about 10 pounds since I got this cold the one time I'm not thrilled about the loss... Once I get back to 100% I am going to avoid the scale like the plague and live solely on measurements for a while. I hate seeing the weight increase even though the measurements are decreasing. I know that I will likely put the weight back on and don't want to lose motivation as I get my muscle mass back.

Candid have you tried making a shopping list and only taking roughly the amount of cash to buy those groceries? I've had to do this before and I've found it to work. The list alone was never enough for me because "oops it fell in the cart and now I should buy it." When I use my debit card to buy groceries it is so much easier to indulge on extras. Just make sure you leave the extra cash at home or in your car. If you hide it somewhere else in your wallet it is easy to sneak a few extra dollars for goodies.

Thank you Freya, that is really good advice! Today was better, I did 1 mile of Leslie Sansone for around 18 minutes split before and after dinner. My calories were around 1938 which is 138 over but came to less thanks to the 1 mile. I'm loving the workout, especially with my music playing along with it, very easy to follow.

You're welcome and congratulations!

I successfully ate two meals today! For lunch I had three bananas with homemade apple sauce - it was the only thing that I could stomach at the time. For dinner I had half of a sandwich.

Feel better soon Freya! I had a rough moment today, that I think I conquered. I have a amazon subscribe & save subscription to 24 single serve bags of Popchips, I admire anyone who can keep this sort of thing around and not get tempted to gorge yourself on them, and I empathize with those who can't like me, I can't seem control myself with things like this. Today I literally grabbed seven bags of chips preparing to eat them instead of you know, real food *sighs*. Well I ate 4 bags (100 calories per bag) and I just happen to be looking at inspirational quotes on instagram & pinterest when I came across one that really moved me -
"When God sees you doing your part, developing what He has given you, then He will do His part and open doors that no man can shut." -unknown

Once reading that, I stopped myself from eating the other 3 bags of chips. I did some exercise today (around 1/2 a mile of Leslie Sansone, if I do more, I'll post it) about to make a late dinner now at nearly 11 at night lol. Calories are over by about 103.

You all can do it!! Candid thank you for sharing that quote. For myself it relates to so much more than just my weight loss. I sometimes forget that I am only twenty-three and do as much as I do.

All right... Grabbing my oars...

Do Walk At Home every other day
Try to stay at or under 1500 calories/day
Don't berate myself if I don't lose, or if I gain a pound.

J-ann you've got this. I have my fingers crossed that you are successful today.

Tootsie welcome

Well today makes one week with this cold. I've gone back and forth about going to to doctor. My Dad decided to go to the doctor so I am going to wait until they say what his issue is. Most of my Maternal family has had this nastiness. Those who have gone to the doctor were told they were perfectly health . If we're perfectly healthy I'd hate to see what sick looks like.

When are you starting a new 10 day challenge? I'd like to participate so I can be more accountable for my goals! I have a lot of things I'm trying to do, so it will be good to focus on just a few things at a time.
