Guess we all forgot to start a new thread for October. One day just blends in to the next.

Today I am struggling. We went out for Mexican last night and I suspect all the carbs my body has been weened from are causing some of the difficulty today. I did make it to the pool for an hour. Just need to get through the rest of the dday!

I went to church and felt sure we would have Mexican for lunch. We ended up at DQ and I thought I can make it work. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and cheese curds. Boy was I shocked when I totaled the calories. 1150!?!!?? I only get 1600 a day and breakfast had been 250. So I had a lite snack as dinner. It worked but I sure wasn't a happy camper.
Scales are still inching downward.

I was POP again yesterday. 3 in a row. It sure does make me feel good.

Deb, I've been there, done that. It's a shocker to see what fast food can do to sabotage a planned day. Good thing you checked so you could rethink dinner.

I think I was overwhelmed yesterday. My 4 yr old grandson had surgery and found out he may have to have colon surgery in the future. Then my sister with lymphomia wasn't able to start chemo because her oxygen was to low and she was out of it mentally due to carbon dioxide being so high in her body. Then my brother called and his wife who has nonhoskins lymphomia was really bad with pneumonia. I just caved. I had a big bowl of chili and pimento cheese with crackers. Then some chex mix and a glass of wine. I feel better today and ready to fight again.
I did exercise yesterday so that's a plus. Today is my last day on steriods so hopefully things will improve. I think I feel better finally.
Let's stay pop!! Oh scales jumped overnight. Not letting it get me though!!

Deb, would chicken wings, baked then tossed in either soy sauce or hot sauce, be a good choice for your plan? Then you could bring carrot and celery sticks to accompany it.

I have been on plan the past 2 days, don't even mention my bday. I won't look at the scale until Friday.

Have a good day everyone!

Great job Judy!! My scales are stuck but tom arrived so it's expected.
Food is good. Still exercising most days. I think tomorrow will be an off exercise day. I'm shopping with my girls tomorrow and then going to my granddaughters 6th day. I can't believe she will be 6!!!
I have a plan for eating out tomorrow. I can make it work!!!
