Too Many Challenges, Chats, etc?
 

Over the years, these forums have become more & more about what I call MegaThreads. Challenges, Chats, Days in Life Boats, etc.

Seems like other threads get minimal response.

Personally, I prefer the other threads. Anybody else?

Or is there another board that is more Question/observation & discussion?

I don't know--look at sachiko's before pics in this forum, which have 45 responses. I think one-off kinds of threads do get attention, but of course it depends on what the topic is.

I think there's room for both kinds of threads, but it makes sense to me that continuing threads, where communities develop, tend to get more activity.
