New here and saying "hi"
 

Hi! My name is Lorri and I have been looking for a weight loss forum to join to help me in my journey. I started out at 394 pounds on January 31, 2014, had some medical scares and decided it was time to take my health more seriously. I am 38, married, and have two beautiful children ages 11 (son) and 5 (daughter). It's just time!!! I have lots of support from my husband, family, and friends but besides my husband, no one has this much weight to lose or can fully understand what it is like to be this weight. I look forward to getting to know more people and sharing in others weight loss journey as I go through mine!!!

Welcome!! I just finally started working towards my goal about 2 weeks ago. It definitely helps to have a place to go to rant, ask questions, complain, learn, bond, etc. :) Enjoy it!

You'll find a LOT of support here. You can do it. If you fail one day, that doesn't mean you have to fail the next. Just get right back on the horse.
