Life Happens

I know I don't actually belong in this thread anymore considering I am not and never will again be 300 Lbs. My highest weight was 320 back in 2009. I went from 320-305 in 2010 then in 2011 got down to 240, After fighting with the 240's for so long I made it to 237 in march of 2012. After many life changes I managed to stay around the 230's until october of 2012 and between then and now I have gained and lost about 50 lbs. At this point I am in the gain. I THINK I am between 280 and 290 (Haven't stepped on the scale in about 2 weeks at which point I was 284). I lost 30 lbs in jan to fit into a dress for my friends wedding in feb, then the BF and I started the home buying process and I went back to the 280's >.< I managed not to get any higher than the 280's because every so often I would tell myself again and again that this is it, I'm making the change but it never stuck sadly.

On may 22nd' our moving day after lots n lots of grueling back and forth and jumping on the asses of both our realtor and our mortgage broker we were getting the moving truck and I ended up totaling my F-150. I was the only one in the vehicle and it was a low speed head on collision. I spent an hr and a half in and ambulance and in the ER being checked out which was embarrassing not just to be taken in and ambulance, but to have to have them move me around at this weight. The day after the accident I found out that the puppy we were supposed to be adopting had passed and we were no longer getting her. on the 3rd day *(friday the 24th) we were told the truck was totaled and I had to spend 6 hours on the phone in pain with my cable company to get them to do their jobs right. So not a great 2 weeks considering I have been to the ER twice and have missed a TON of my classes.

And honestly, none of my clothes fit, they are all too small I am tired of this weight, I really am. I don't even know how I let myself creep up to the 280's considering I had managed to maintain at 240-250 for so long.

So here I am at it again and the journey continues. Sigh.

Welcome back!

The 300+ club will always be my home even though it has been awhile since I have been in the 300's.

Sometimes life gets in the way and we just have to do the best we can. Whatever else, you have managed to maintain part of your weightloss and that is a success. I gained too (but not all) and am getting closer to my lowest weight. It is frustrating relosing, but it is way better than the alternative. :)

Very true nancy, But it kind of pisses me off that when I saw 280's I was Ok with it >.< why in the **** was I "OK" with 280? Why wasn't it a red flag like HELLOOOO CHANGE NOW!! ? Bleh.

Welcome back, SMS. I'll never forget the 300s and will always be here in my heart as that's where I decided to change my life (or rather, my life was changing me).

I'm sorry you have had a rough couple of weeks. We are here for you. I'm glad you came back. :)
