Default You can do it... Put you @$$ into it... Jeans darn it jeans. Gotta share this blog.

So my thing is clothing and occasionally I see a blog about something that I am nodding my head about. This is one of those times... I love that she took the time to write on plus size jean issues instead of just smaller women also.

GREAT! Thank you for sharing it! I've never put a second thought into my jean purchases beyond, "This will fit."...now I'm going to try these techniques out!

Glad to share it. I always put a lot of thought into my jeans because I was/am harder to fit than some (not unable to get my size but unable to get ones that look good more often then naught). It was really interesting to see so many of the things I look for listed in one post...

I saw it the day after I bought a new pair of jeans and I haven't even checked if they suit what is there... I just know my butt looks good and I don't have the front bulge of extra material so I was like... oh... yay! LOL

That was a great blog - thanks for sharing.

I really need some new jeans and it has been so long I don't know where to start. My hip waist ratio makes it so that nothing seems to fit in both places at the same time (current w: 38.5, h: 56), plus I am rather short. It is a daunting task that I am not looking forward to.

I feel like I need to get rid of ALL of my jeans now... It's a good thing I usually go with yoga pants, dress pants, or dresses

NotTheCheat too bad you are not up in Canada. That would be the jean style I often wear. They are designed for 10 inches difference in the waist.

I have those Lane Bryant trouser jeans - so embarrassing.

Thanks for sharing it though. I am trying to get more comfortable with more fitted styles, but Lane Bryant's jeans are always so gross on me. All they know how to make are mom jeans, super tight skinny jeans, and those trouser ones I buy.

I refuse to buy jeans online normally, which stinks, since most of the brands she recommends are online.

Loved that blog! Thanks, cuterwcurves! And I love bling on my butt so that was right up my alley!

I didn't see a difference in many of the before / after pictures! And is it just me, or does Subject A's butt look bigger in the after picture?

There was one before/after that I thought was a big improvement (Subject C.)

Otherwise, meh.

I am amazed at how much I love bling on my butt lately actually. Though the new jeans don't have it.

I was wicked disappointed in NotYourDaughtersJeans. I had looked forward to them for sooo long and the ones I tried on fit but were not for me. I need to find a store with better selection or just come stateside for some of the brands she mentions.

Interesting - what store is that? I have a friend in Canada I visit annually and I could go check them out next time I am there.

I think subject A looks bigger because the second picture is more tightly focused on her, so she's taking up more of the 'room' in the picture. I do think her butt looks better, though. Less lopsided.

Jeans are hard! If it fits my stomach, it is too big in the legs. Skinny jeans don't seem to work, but I'll give them another try, maybe in a size higher?

Lately, uhm, I just buy them at the thrift store. Hard to justify spending $80 on jeans you hope to wear for 3-4 months. Instead, I venture $6 if it seems to be in my size. Though uh, lately I've found a number of thrift-store jeans with the size labels torn out! HELLO, people can still tell you're overweight even if you tear out the damn label. I have a hard time eyeballing since I overestimate the size I need right now, so I never buy those.

Thanks for the link, though, I never spend that much time looking at my rear in jeans and now I am going to check that view, too.
