Clothing size and weight question

Hello!

Has anyone found a way to estimate what size they would be if they lost a certain amount of weight? Any calculators or websites out there that I haven't been able to find.

I'd rather be a certain size and not worry about what the scale actually says. If I could be a size 18 or 16 I don't care if the scale says 250.

Any help? Thanks!

I think it differs from person to person. For me, it's about 25 lbs before I can go down a size. The lower your weight the less you have to lose to go down a size.

Definitely agree with this. My first size drop took around 50lbs (maybe a little more). The next size is taking about 25lbs. Then i assume it will take less and less (I hope).

check out mybodygallery.com

Users of all shapes and sizes have submitted photos of themsevles, you can search by your height and your goal size, and will be shown women in that range. Of course it will vary person to person, it might give you an idea of what you might look like.

It does take less and less as you go do to move down sizes. It's about a 10-15lb difference in misses sizes

We're almost the same height and so maybe my size changes will give you an idea :)
350 pounds at a 24/26
315-320 pounds at a tight 22
280 pounds at a 20
230 pounds I believe I was a loose 18,
212 pounds at a 16
200 pounds at a 14
185 pounds at a 12

Up to plus size it is roughly 1 inch and 10 lbs ish between sizes.

In plus sizes it is roughly 2 inches and 20 lbs in between sizes.

Plus size "begins" at 12, 14, or 16 depending on the brand.

How you carry your weight (apple, pear shape, etc) influences things of course, but as a rule of thumb, I've found it to be true for myself.

Bust-waist-hip go down an inch in each measure? There we go. Next size down if in regular sizes. 2 inches if in plus.

HTH!

*giggle*

I just went... plugged in my height, weight, and sizes and it said they had nothing to show me.

maybe in the future?

-------------------------

Clothing sizes depend a lot on the shape of your body, etc. If I went by size I would be happy to be back down to a 20... if I went by the scale I would be pouty to be 314.59lbs... Where is the line here? I am going to be happy to be a size 20. My size 20 isn't going to be others size 20 though because I am a mesomorph (build muscle uncontrollably). Last time I was in the size I am now I was 290. The time before... 280.

So asking a weight for size... can be highly subjective hun.

Good luck!

A lot of people have suggested My Body Gallery, but unfortunately there is no one that is about 5 10", 337, Apple shaped on there LOL.

Cuter with Curves we have the same problem! I can build muscle like crazy. I love when people say, Oh women don't bulk up like men do. BULL crap!!

I have broad shoulders, and I know I am big boned under the fat. I think going smaller than a 18 I would look disgustingly thin and sick.
