Looking for Weight Loss Buddy\Pen-Pal

    I realize this site is mostly for women. But it is by far the best weight loss forum I have found. I am in a bit of trouble with my weight and am looking for some help. My doctor wants me to lose 60 lbs before we move forward with a weight loss surgery. But overall I need to lose about 250 lbs. So I have started down that road. Today is day 4. I have decided to lose the 60 lbs and just keep on going and not have to get the surgery. So we'll see.

    Anyway, this might be a shot in the dark, but I am looking for someone going through something similar (100+ lbs of weight loss, etc). Someone I can exchange daily emails with. Just someone I can talk about what I am going through with. Someone who is in it for the long haul like I am. I am very motivated and optimistic that I can pull this off. So I think I could be a good friend to someone trying to do the same.

    Are you following a particular program?
    Im always looking for motivation and inspiration. For me, watching the Biggest Loser is fantastic. I prefer watching big people lose weight since I can relate!!

    Yea, that would be good. One of the downsides of this forum is that there are so many threads.

    I am currently on a high protein, low carb plan. I drink a OptiFast shake for breakfast. Have an OptiFast bar for morning and afternoon snacks. I have a Heathy Choice soup for lunch. And for dinner I have 6 oz. of chicken or pork and 1 cup of veggies.

    Seems to be working so far.

    ATHOUGH I am a female I am looking for a pal too . I use WS products with a lean and green (starting tomorrow) I have gmail and yahoo chat....I have really bug day in 8 weeks..need to get the ball rolling again...lol
