I finally fit!
 

Literally, in the bathtub. Yeah, that probably sounds horrible, but its been almost 5 years since I have actually taken a bath and been able to lay my arms down beside me in the tub. I took the courage to take a bath for the first time in over 8 months, I only take showers. Best feeling ever! Between the sore knees, lack of space, and Olympic feats needed to get up, I had given up on those comfortable, warm soaks in the tub! I owe it to all of the people here at 3FatChicks. I read every one of the threads, and gather strength from everyone's stories and successes.

That's so awesome, congratulations!! But you also owe it to yourself!!

BB well done my lovely. I have written on the forum before I cried when I coulkd actually wipe my rear end without contorting myself into knots. These things matter!

Sadly, I know what you mean! It's also fun to see more and more water on your sides as you continue to get smaller!

That is wonderful! I had a similar thought this weekend and was going to take a bath but realized that the plug does not go all of the way down :( time to call super.

Funny the things we take advantage of when we are smaller. I looked at horseback riding today and they had a tiny note at the bottom to let them know if you weigh over 245 as you may not fit in their saddles. Wow... really I can't ride a horse right now!

That is amazing!! I can't wait until I can fit into the bathtub again. My thighs are so big right now they take up all the space. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!!

I agree -nothing like it. I also love the fact that the water can actually drain around me, instead of damming up behind me :). I also love getting out front first, instead of turning on my knees and hauling myself up ! Yay - great NSV

Taking a bath sounds wonderful! I haven't done that since last year but I should be able to fit in the tub in another month.

It's so great to read about the positive things we can do as we lose weight instead of mourning about the food we can't eat, etc.

I hope to list the following things as reachable as I continue to lose weight:
Wearing my wedding ring again on my (smaller) finger
Riding horses (most horses can't manage with a rider over 225 lbs)
Fitting in an airplane seat without a seat belt extender
Sitting in a booth instead of a chair at a restaurant
Rediscovering my clothes in the closet (sizes 24 all the way down to 12):dizzy:

Congrats!! It's the little things like this that really give you your life back. :)

@OP, congrats on your victory! I haven't been able to fit in my tub for years! i can only imagine the joy you must feel! Well done and All the best as you continue on your journey x
