Had a little splash yesterday. I found that just because things don't go AS PLANNED doesn't mean it has to be OFF PLAN. With that being said hubby surprised me with a date night. We went out for supper, I did well with the meal, but I did have a margarita and that put me over my calorie limit.

But today is a new day! Actually it is almost over...but it's been a GOOD DAY! What did I do today??

Well since I am preparing for WLS one of the things I keep hearing is I will have to eat slower and chew my food very well. So I decided I will try to get into that habit. Small bites, fork down between bites, pause after I swallow before I stick the next forkful in and chew very well. It took me 45 minutes to eat supper!!

Stay dry everyone!

Kate, I'll share a quote from my WW leader that I've used for myself so often that it comes into my head about 5 minutes into every meal:

"Don't put food in your mouth when you already have food in your mouth."

Sounds like you're really getting it together.

Dry so far! Didn't wear the pedometer today because I forgot, and I suspect I didn't get all my steps in, but otherwise I'm doing well.

Default yesterday was good, lost another pound!

Yay! I lost one more pound. I just started my diet a couple weeks ago but it's going great. Did water aerobics yesterday and didn't use all my points (WW)

I just found this site yesterday and I think it's awesome!

Great Day Yesterday. I made a few mnor changes. I had been eating below 1500 calories/day which my dietician says is a big No No! So I added a piece of fruit, a cup of yogurt, and some string cheese to my day and I was over 1500 calories, but still below 1700.

I am on course today and it looks like a great day!

Gotta row even harder. Only lost 0.2 lb this week. Might be salt from the oar splashes.
