Happy Birthday Carol!!!!!!! Enjoy it.
|
Should be a quiet weekend... I would like to get a workout in each day.
Yesterday my big accomplishment was not eating any cookies/cake/pastries. First time in nearly 2 weeks I can say that. |
I will NOT eat my way to Christmas!! I will be back POP today!! I WILL be! Friday we had our party with the kids I keep and the moms brought in cookies. Yesterday hubby and I went to eat and it seemed to be the start of an eating frenzy. I will break it today!!We will have a nice meal out tomorrow while enjoying the arrival of our new granddaughter. This will be our 4th grandchild in just a little over 3 yrs. I will then stay OP till Christmas Eve.
As of right now I dont plan on making anything sweet. My youngest is crying the blues but hey we dont need it!!! |
I need to be OP today, too!!
|
me too!, trying to be op today and until Christmas. Not going to promise an op Christmas day or Eve either. Be strong! Ruth

Hey All posting by phone while visiting family. A few nsvs lately: new pants size, finally, and finding my mobility for hauling into high vehicles Nd up stairs is imProved. I really want to get back to where I was in July and august. I'm glad to be maintaining, but it's time to lose more.
Stay strong all. |
Yay for Angela!
And I had an OP day yesterday! (plus exercise!) Got a plan to do it again! |
:carrot: Yeah Angela. Seeing a new clothing size is what really makes weight loss seem real. It's physical proof to ourselves even if no one else sees it!
Heather: Glad to see you getting back on track. You've done the hard part. Now you need to stick to it. Almost fell off yesterday. Late breakfast, then out til well past lunch time. I was on the road and didn't want to stop, sit down, and eat so I did the drive thru thing. Got home and calculated points. I still ended up with enough pts. for a piece of chicken and lots of veggies for a late supper. I needed to eat cause I'd had no veggies all day and if I miss them, i swear heavy little fat globules suddenly appear and stick to my thighs like magic! Will plan a lot better today. I have a beautiful healthy granddaughter who weighed in at 8lbs 7oz. She is 19 3/4 inches long. She looks just like her sister and brother! Yes she stole my heart already.
We ate out yesterday and my chicken had to be sent back due to being raw. I wasnt hungry by the time they brought me a new plate so I asked for a box and took it to my son. I did eat a few rolls while I waited. So not good choices for the day yesterday. Im cooking today so it will be healthy and lots of veggies! |
Debbie -- Congrats on the brand new granddaughter!!!!
I did go off plan in terms of food yesterday, but kept the calories in check. Need to figure out what's for dinner tonight... |
Debby: Enjoy the new granddaughter. What a lovely way to add to your family's Christmas celebration.
Heather: Hope you come up with a tasty dinner. It's cold and clear here this morning. I delivered the last of my Christmas gifts last night. Now it can snow. <not> WW tomorrow. I've had an OP week so am hoping I at least drop the .6 lb. I gained last week. "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going." -Anonymous |
Congrats Debby!
I'm in a hotel on my way home.... visibility got bad on the roads or I would've been home by now :( |
Good morning!
Deb, that is great. Enjoy that new grandbaby. I am into great grands now!:faint: 7 of them, and all precious. (as long as I can send them home with their parents! LOL!) Hope eveyone is having an easier time than I am staying op.....grrr! Me! Have a great day all. Ruth |
Ruth -- OP is coming hard for me too... Good luck!!

Back from my 6 months doing WW anniversary weigh in. Bye Bye 280's. Lost 3.2 lbs and broke the 40 lbs lost level. :cp::dancer::cp:
I'd originally hoped for 50 lbs in 6 months but hey, I'm 62 yrs. old and don't walk well so exercise isn't what it should be. I'll happily take the 41 lb. loss. Just hope I can keep going and stay motivated. I know I feel better and most of the time walking is easier. My stamina has really improved and for that alone I'm grateful. I'm gonna do what I can to stay OP this week but I have a damage control plan to fall back on if need be. If anyone's traveling in the next few days ...... be safe. :ginger: |
