Quick fly by this morning - heading to St. Louis with my boss for the day - no worries about food. Eight hours in the car with him is another story though.
Ruth- thanks hun. Im so glad your doing good.
Angela- hang in there...the weekend is coming. I hope you are getting this beautiful weather we are having. I got to walk outside yesterday and it was wonderful.
Carol- Glad you were abale to get back POP so fast!!
heather_ how are you?
Carol, Dang I want a whoosh! On the scale that is. I am glad the time in the car wasn't so bad.
Deb, take a few steps outside for me too. Good going!
Angela, Did you get to rest well last night? Sleep is so important and sometimes it eludes me for days. Cat naps are not restful sleep.
Well ladies, I am off to finish vacuuming. My central vac system motor quit on me and I had to use a dirt devil (my mom owned), boy, that thing will best you up it is so akward. Darn thing is heavy! That will be my exercise for today. I am just thankful I had gotten the living room and dining room done before the other one quit. Take care my friends. Ruth
I had a GREAT day yesterday! I walked and ate right. The scales rewarded me with a big drop of water weight and I had a peaceful night of sleep without waking up with heartburn. How quickly we forget how good it feels to be POP!
ruth- be careful using that vacum. hugs and have a great day.
I retired last Oct. with every intention of buckling down and losing weight. Surprisingly, I didn't. After a long. cold Winter and wet Spring I finally rejoined WW in late June and I've lost 20.2 lbs AND gotten out of the 3's. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the Points Plus program but I'm doing okay.
I retired my 10 yr old CRV a couple of weeks ago. It finally decided to start costing me money over the Winter so after 231,000 miles we parted ways and I'm the proud owner of a "new to me" '07 Honda Element, or as one of my friends calls it, "The Ugly Car". Milage is good and it's fun to drive, just funny looking.
Morning! I'm basically a *newbie* even though I joined 3FC in 12/2009 I did NOTHING in these two years. My how time flies. I feel the same as I did then, I'm overweight and need to do something. Well, the time is NOW! It's time to start the journey. Looking forward to getting to know you better!
Yeesh, 3 weeks into the semester and I'm already feeling overwhelmed. Tomorrow I'm going to get moving on trying to make a plan for the week that will get my exercise in.
Judy: Welcome back! I've gotten out of the 3's not so long ago too.
Welcome, Smitten!
Ruth, I finally caught up on sleep, but not until last night.
Heather, Good luck!
Everybody I've missed, hi, and hang in there.
Angela

A few months ago I started to be very out of breath upon climbing stairs.
Not a normal thing at all. I knew something was dreadfully wrong.
After a month of tests, I had a heart cath and it showed 95% blockage in my coronary artery. They inserted a stent.
All of a sudden, my perspective changed completely.
My outlook 180%. I'm no longer "dieting". I'm not even tempted to eat anything but healthy foods. I have given up Cokes (I was a 5 can a day drinker). Eating veggies and fruit and lean meat. Nothing fried. And I'm really enjoying the change.
I have an 11 year old son with autism. He needs his Mama for a while longer. I plan on being here for him for a long time.
