Completely Looking Forward to this Forum!
 

Hello, everyone. I'm a newcomer to this site, so I'd like to introduce myself and meet some fellow partners on this lifelong journey.

I'm a 22 year old college student who has been overweight her entire life and never really minded. I've always been comfortable in my own skin, so I've had to find my weight loss motivation in health, rather than appearance. (I will admit, however, that I now believe this to be a huge benefit, despite the times when it has hindered my ambitions.)

I'm an avid reader/writer (which does NOT contribute to being active, much to my displeasure) and I'm also a trained classical music vocalist. I used to be a competitive swimmer and it is by far my favorite sport. In the entire world of exercise, I detest running most of all, especially on a track.

So I'm here hoping to find some accountability and some support for those days when all of this just seems impossible. I'm hoping this experience here really helps make the difference this time. :]
