Measurements
I know alot of us are focused on the weight aspect of weight loss but lets not forget our measurements take a hit as well. So for those of you who take measurements as well I wanted to start this thread.
Waist: 61 1/2 inches RA (Right Arm): 17 1/4 inches LA (Left Arm): 18 1/2 inches RT (Right thigh): 27 inches LT (Left thigh): 29 inches Hips: 64 1/2 inches Breast: 63 inches I Will do this once a week to see if there are any changes in measurements as well as weight. |

This is such a great idea and I wish I had started taking measurements or even before photos when I started! Can wait to see your updates. Good luck.

I will do this with you! I will take my measurements now then update on Sundays because that's my weigh-in day. :) I added some extra measurements that I would like to monitor for myself.
The only measurement I have taken in the past is waist, and I started at 55 inches. 3/8/11: Waist: 46 Upper Stomach: 47.5 Bust: 46.5 Under Bust: 41.5 Hips: 44.5 Neck: 16 RA (Right Arm): 13.5 LA (Left Arm): 13 RT (Right thigh): 24.5 LT (Left thigh): 25.5 |
You know what, I will. I do my weight ins on Sunday so I can just get it all in then and also have a better idea of what's going on with my body since the scale isn't always the best measurement. Hope you don't mind I added some measurements. Once upon a time a 20" necklace would choke me or just not fasten and bracelets and watches were a nightmare. Same with boots that go over your calf. I'd like to see those areas change on me, so I put them in with the others.

same for me!!!! I can't wear necklaces..my neck is too fat. I have to get extenders or something! I will join in. I only measure a few things though. Here it goes Waist 48" under bust 50" Bust 57" Hips 53" Lets do this ladies!!! :cheer: :hug: |

3/12/11 - Top to Bottom:
Neck=17" Left Arm=16.5" Right Arm =17" Rib Cage (bra band line)=43" Upper Stomach=47" Waist=47.5" Lower Stomach/Hips=64" Left Thigh=29" Right Thigh=28" Left Calf=18.5" Right Calf=18.5" I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's progress, and personally to having one more level of accountability! |
Well ladies I gained in some and lost in others so here are my measurements
Waist: 61 inches RA (Right Arm): 17 inches LA (Left Arm): 16 3/4 inches RT (Right thigh): 28 inches LT (Left thigh): 29 1/2 inches Hips: 64 1/2 inches Breast: 61 inches i lost in waist, RA, LA, and breast. I stayed the same in hips. but gained in my thighs. Overall I am happy about this weeks measurements.:D |
I have some good differences, but I think part of is because when I first posted I took my measurements in the evening and today I took them first thing in the morning...
3/13/11 Weight: 214.0 Waist: 45.25 Upper Stomach: 46.5 Bust: 46.5 Under Bust: 40.25 Hips: 43.25 Neck: 15.5 RA (Right Arm): 12.5 LA (Left Arm): 12.25 RT (Right thigh): 23.25 LT (Left thigh): 23.25 |
