When did you first notice...
When did you first notice the numbers on the scale going down? After a week? 2 weeks? A month?
|
Last May, when I made a conscious effort to lose weight, I only weighed myself once a week--and after the first week I had lost 6 pounds. I currently have an annoying habit of weighing myself daily lol, but generally week by week the numbers go down (usually in 1.5-2lb increments). :)

I notice within a week.

I noticed about 5 days after I started counting calories. The first 2 days I counted my NORMAL intake and it was... over 5k. Yeah. I stepped down to 1500by the 4th day and when I weighed on the 5th day I had lost 2lbs. I was in shock. I was one of those "No matter what I do, I just CANT lose weight!" people. Well thats because I wasnt trying, to be completely honest. But yeah, 2lbs turned in to 7lbs and omg Im under 300lbs! It was addicting to say the least.

Thanks for the responses... been over a week and the scale hasn't moved. But i think I know why... stupid time of the month lasting over a week again... TMI but it's pissing me off.

Hmm i take that back. Got on the scale and it said 319.5.
|
That's a loss of 3.5 lbs! Woohoo! Waytogo!

i tried that once, counting what i normally ate. But i changed what i ate anyways because i knew i was counting it and i didn't want to see it too high. It was high, over 2k but still i knew i ate more than that normally.

I didn't weigh myself until I had been on-plan and exercising for a solid month. I had lost around 13 lbs, as well as tons of inches.
|
I'm a bit OCD when it comes to the scale. I keep weighing myself mostly to see if the scale will say what i weigh. Because it wouldn't for the longest time, just said ERROR. So I got obsessed with it... and now I'm obsessed with knowing what I weigh every day and how much I'm losing.
|
I know its not 'okay' to do this but I weigh myself all day long. I just cant help it.
|
I didnt start weighing myself untill about a month and a half in which is unfortunately why I don't have a really accurate "starting weight." In my heart I know I was more than 180 but I refused to step on and find out for sure :-/
Now I weigh myself every 2 weeks because my weight loss has slowed significantly since I'm at goal. Now I just like to track it because I'm following a better fitness routine. |
