Work out music
I need good work out music, preferably with words. You know the ones that push you to run that much harder or that much faster. :carrot:
I like to work out to Black Eye Peas, Keesha, Lil Wayne, Drake, Pennywise, or NOFX.
Ricky Martin.. The Cup Of Life! This only song that gets me up and shake my booty!
Insane in the Brain!
Rob Zombie, circa Dragula. Skipknot. Anything on the local hip-hop station.
Firework... Katy perry! Gets you going!
this is my playlist....make sure you add some faster inspirational songs...its amazing that when i am the most tired from the workout, these somehow manage to come on at the right moment to inspire me to keep on keeping on

Move your body is a good one... Eiffle 65 |
I just recently updated my playlist to put some more recent, fun stuff on it. Here are some of my favorites:
Forget You--Cee-Lo Green (there's also a "F**K You", and an "F You" version...mild, medium or spicy...take your pick, they're all the same song) Gold Digger--Kanye West Chelsea Dagger--The Fratellis How To Save a Life--The Fray (my all-time favorite song!) Asereje (The Ketchup Song)--Las Ketchup (don't judge...it's FUN!) Eins Zwei Polizei--Mo Do Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)--Shakira The Time--Black Eyed Peas Dancing With Myself--Billy Idol For Your Entertainment--Adam Lambert Sex On Fire--Kings of Leon Pon de Replay--Rihanna Raise Your Glass--Pink Ruby Blue, and also Rama Lama Bang Bang--Roisin Murphy I Dare You--Shinedown Of course, my primary workout is dance. You may have slightly different needs. But I hope this helps! |
I love waka waka, lavie!!! Awesome list!
When I work out, I like to listen to songs that would make me dance. :D I have a pretty wide taste when it comes to music (I love pretty much everything!) ...sometimes I'll just put my '80s or '90s playlists on shuffle, because there's so much "fun music" from those eras! But were I to put a playlist together, it may look something like this:
"Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles "Birthday" by The Beatles "Let's Get It Started" by Black Eyed Peas "Howlin' for You" by The Black Keys "Peace of Mind" by Boston "Just What I Needed" by The Cars "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper "United State of Pop 2010 (Don't Stop the Pop)" by DJ Earworm "We Got the Beat" by The Go-Go's "Paris (Ooh La La)" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals "This Could All Be Yours" by Guster "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett "D.A.N.C.E" by Justice "Molly's Chambers" by Kings of Leon "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga "Daylight" by Matt & Kim "Beat It" by Michael Jackson "Dashboard" by Modest Mouse "Hey Ya!" by Outkast "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar "A Change Would Do You Good" by Sheryl Crow "Spice Up Your Life" by the Spice Girls (!!!) "Never Give Up on the Good Times" by the Spice Girls "The Underdog" by Spoon "Bodhisattva" by Steely Dan "American Girl" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers "Something Good Can Work" by Two Door Cinema Club "A-Punk" by Vampire Weekend "My Doorbell" by The White Stripes "Land of 1000 Dances" by Wilson Pickett "Ce Jeu" by Yelle |
Stronger by Kanye West
Moving in Stereo by The Cars Mamma by Genesis (or Phil Collins, sorry I don't remember) The Power by Snap Ain't Nobody by Chaka Khan Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden Burnin' For You by Blue Oyster Cult Creep by Radiohead Dum Diddly by Black Eyed Peas Fastlove by George Michaels Goodies by Ciara I could go on and on! ;) |
My 2 very favorite workout songs (that I have multiple times on my workout playlist) are Black Betty, the Spiderbait version, and Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet. Those get me moving every time!
i haven't really been able to find anything motivating for me yet, i have even tried a lot of ones people on 3fc have listed, maybe i will eventually, i guess its not too big of an issue. i think its a lot more to do with me, than the song..lol
Omg, do you remember the Jock Jams Megamix from like a decade ago? I loooove that one. Keeps me going every time!
