I've been without Internet from Christmas until yesterday. Lost the USB cable for my BodyBugg and couldn't recharge the bugg (which helps me keep my training/nutrition) edge. The new cable should arrive tomorrow. Been counting my minutes analog till then and missing everyone.
I'm back online now and in order to catapult myself into the New Year, I have signed up for Lisa Shaffer's 10,000 Kettlebell Swing Challenge (on Facebook) for the month of January. This means a lot more intensity in my training, although less total minutes of exercise this month.
Last month, I went for 3600 and beat my goal. This month, I needed a tougher regimen to break out of a plateau I've been on for a couple months.
Welcome to DesiDoo, Dgramie, Miss Nika, Radar, LK1, Princess, PacificaBee, Bev, LacyCen, RainbowSmiles, Amy, Temple, VioletSwerve, SparrowSings and anyone else I'm forgetting...so many new companions on this journey to our healthier, stronger selves.
RisenDestiny: My dog is no longer able to walk as much as I need to (she's almost 15 years old) so I walk her for warming up and then lift Kettlebells and do bodyweight exercises.
I am so excited about the accountability I give myself here and the treasures it gives my body, my family and my community.
Happy New Year! Happy New Me! Happy New You!
