Feeling great...looks like a loss for the week. I cant wait to see how much for sure. Kids are coming home tonight for hubbys bday(yesterday) and mothers day. Pizza is on the menu..i plan on 4 squares and a salad. I may taste dessert or may not.
My daughter said yesterday MOM is the anyway to lose your fat roll( apron area). she said thats the only place you need to lose more weight...bless her heart!! what she doesnt realise is that area isnt going to come off. It was a nice compliment from her.

Wishing you, Deb, and all our Mothers a Happy Mothers' Day on Sunday.

I thought I'd lost this week, for sure but at w/i yesterday I gained a pound. Huh???? The look on my face right after she told me cracked up our WW leader. Oh well. I know I was good. Hope it shows on the scale next week.

Carol, Congrats on taking control. You Rock!

Ratkitten, sorry you got sick but look at it this way .... It was a good reminder that over doing on anything is not good for us. <G>

Today has been POP. Gotta plan for tomorrow.

Goodness! What a crazy week!! It will be crazy for the next two weeks, too. I'm trying to keep moving and eat less, but definitely a challenge!

gggirls 05-08-2010 08:09 AM

I've strung 5 POP days together - looking to say 6 tomorrow morning. Seems like winter returned with a 40 on the thermometer this morning. Lots to do outside today so may wait until it warms a bit.

I saw a whoosh on the scale this morning - I think my head is finally ready to let my body hit the 100 lb lost mark - hoping that is what I find upon my return from Alaska.

YOU GO CAROL!!!!

Isn't it great to be back in control and cruisin' along the weight loss highway?:dancer: You'll do fine on your trip. I always do better when I travel. Too bad I don't do it more often. :)

I think I'm back in control too. The "Say no" to myself switch has finally been repaired! :D

I got my grocery shopping done by 9 AM this morning. We're expecting rain and extremely high winds later this morning and SNOW for Mother's Day morning. Think I'll be staying in and getting stuff done around the house.

Hi all! Work has kicked it into high gear and I'll be scarce for a couple of weeks. I'll also be busy getting things in the garden in order. Supposed to have a freeze tonight, so I had to try to button things up!

Hopefully I'll be planting 'maters soon!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers - and furbabies moms too!

Happy Mothers Day to all..

I am so excited with the scales. I lost 6.5lbs this week. I really think my body is getting into the losing state again and out of the yo-yoing game.
I am also proud to report that even with alot of family stress going on I didnt attemp to eat the house. I really think the higher protien is helping.
Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe day!!

WTG DG and GGG.

I've been trying for the one healthy meal a day and made it most days but not every day. I'm going to keep at that until it feels fairly easy, then go for 2 meals a day. It's all I really feel I can manage right now.

Our healthy meal today was lunch: garlic soup, egg-beaters frittata w/ basil and parmesan, and homemade rye bread (just the 2nd time I've made bread in my life--it came out well).

Yesterday's healthy meal was hot flaxseed cereal to which I added powdered ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and slivered almonds. I have no idea why I never tried adding those kinds of spices to plain cooked cereal before. Yee-um. I'm planning to make up some baggies, pre-measured with spices, to take along with me to Ohio so I can make healthy breakfast quickly.

Happy Mother's Day to all!

Angela -- For me one big key to healthy eating was the yee-um factor! I just finished yogurt with blueberries and kashi cereal. yee-um indeed!

I've been so busy! Work/grading and garden. And I didn't get enough done in either task... plus I just realized I never went to the grocery store this weekend!
