It's the little stuff

It's the little things that are keeping me motivated right now.

The other day I noticed that it's not so hard for me to carry the laundry from the laundry room to the bedroom. It used to be REALLY heavy to me...now, I can carry it with little to no problem at all.

It's not so difficult for me to carry my son in his carseat, either. I used to struggle with carrying him back and forth from the car...not so anymore.

I'm looking forward to not feeling squished in a regular size bathtub. Oh, how nice it would be to be able to take baths with my husband again.

How great would it be to not be embarassed in the locker room when changing after a workout.

How awesome would be to have people look AT you and not THROUGH you when you're at the mall...I feel so damn invisible sometimes.

These are just the little things I'm looking forward to when I lose more weight.

Thought I would share.

I LOVE all your "little things" and have been appreciating my own lately!

I too want to be more comfortable in a standard sized bathtub and have people look at rather than through me.

I'm noticing that going up stairs isn't as difficult, and for that, I am grateful.

I haven't went down an entire size universally, but my size 22's are feeling loose and clothes that were tight now fit really well; a friend told me my jacket looked tailored, fitted just for me!

Oh..I like this

Going up and down stairs is easier

Clothes are looser

When I first started, 15 minutes of excercise wore me OUT, now I can do 70 minutes easy and I have to do between 90-120 for me to really get a good workout, that's GREAT

It used to be all I could do to go up and down the stairs in my house. I would plan trips out. If I accidentally left something upstairs, it was a major hassle to back up to get it.

Now I can, and do, run up and down the stairs umpteen times a day, I don't even think about it. I certainly couldn't pick someone else up and carry them upstairs, however. And that's what I was doing--carrying around the weight equivalent of another whole person.

No WONDER I could barely go up and down stairs!!

"How great would it be to not be embarassed in the locker room when changing after a workout"

I've gotten better about this but with loose skin issues I have to admit I'm still quite uncomfortable, and I'm in the locker room several times a week at the pool.
