As an update, I have now FINALLY dropped out of the 300s to 297!!! I think that if I adopt this lower (healthier) carb, low fat, higher protein lifestyle for good, I might actually stand a chance at achieving permanent weight loss. Thanks, again, for all of the info and good luck to all of you!! |
Congratulations! I know I was overjoyed when I hit the 200s......and I will probably *faint* when I hit the 100s :D

I am so happy to hear about this from other women. I have been eating a low calorie balanced diet for months now and have had minimal loss. I exercise 5 days a week for at least an hour as well and have been so frustrated that I contemplate just giving up. I think I may be insulin resistant, and have been researching it since seeing this thread. Today I am switching to a low carb lifestyle to see if this may be what my body needs to lose weight. I'm sure these first few weeks will be hard on my mind, thankfully I'll be busy this weekend and hopefully that will keep my mind off eating carbs. Hopefully I will stumble onto what works for my body soon. Thanks for this thread!
