The 30 Day Shred is a workout DVD with trainer Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. You do circuits that involve 3 minutes strength work (with dumbells), 2 minutes cardio, and 1 minute abs. I think you do 3 circuits. It starts off with a warm up and ends with stretching. There are 3 levels. You basically are supposed to spend 10 days on each level, but don't move up a level until you think you're ready that way you don't injure yourself. It lasts approximately 30 minutes and is pretty intense. I've never stuck with it throught the whole thing, I always quit before I move to level 2 lol. I'm gonna have to start back up again. Ive tried it, and like Zoochick says, I never got past the 1st stage either.
But its a great work out, overall, but I think its a little too much for a beginner (someone just starting to get into an exercise routine)
I do however, like her motivation techniques, and purchased the Jillian Michaels for Beginners set for Front and Back.
I just started, and its not too bad, and features people from the Biggest Loser show from past seasons performing the workouts. I think it helps me stay motivated because these are "real" people, who Ive watched on the show and I feel that if they can do it so can I
