Southerngal: I remember ya!! WElcome back!! Isnt it great to come back to a place ya love and everyone is still here!

Rene: WTG opn walking the dogs! If our dog was more socialized we could walk her. I'm afraid I would spend more time yelling at her then walking lol

angelpainjel: You can do this!!!! We are here for ya!

As for me: Went to the gasterologist Tuesday. I seen a lady this time and she was wonderful!! They went over my results. She said that my endo was fine. She said that I have internal hemmeriods and outter ones..alot and really big.LOL So she has me adding fiber to my diet and doing that for a few weeks. She doesnt want me to have surgery UNLESS it is neccessary!! I told her about the sharp pains that I am having under my right breast and in the back and shoulder. She is sending me for the dye test for my gallbladder. I told her the pain comes and goes. She said that might be my problem.

Today I go to the cardiologist. This is the one Dr that I hope does not find anything wrong!!

Toodles all..drink your water!!!

Debbie, any news on hubby, hope all went well.xxxxxxx
Cyn, great story about the cockerel!!!lol I'm amazed it didn't finish him off, or at least stop him going on the fence!! Good luck with the drs.xxxxxx
Annie I hope you're better now, get some rest.xxxxxxx
Angel, yep, I SO agree with you about the sadness of our size, but it can be done, there are several ladies here who've lost considerable amounts of weight. Keep popping in for a 'chat' there's lots of advice & encouragement here.xxxxxxx
Carol how are you, I hope all is well?xxxxxxx
I checked on my friend's horse, brushed him, saddled him up & led my boys round on him in the menage (fenced in area, like corral) in turn, they loved it. He just plodded along, he's so gentle & calm even though he's only 4 yo & not been ridden in over a week!
Gotta finish my omlette & get on with housework.
xxxxxxxsharon

Just popping in to say HI to everyone. Today is a breath of fresh air. It is nice and dry out in the low 70's right now. Delightful!! I have been miserable in the HOT and HUMID weather we have been having lately. My body is like a sponge and I retain alot of water during days like that and makes me crazy!!

Anyway, congrats on the losses and bigger congrats on those that maintained or gained, but have not given up! Its much harder to throw in the towel when we are not rewarded on the scale. Hang in there!!

HI..Im here and have good news. THe heart cath was all clear. He did remove a bit of plaque in spots but no blockages. We are still going to be dealing with the blood clotting issues and back on meds so he doesnt get blood clots again. We can deal with that though!! The dr said the chest pains must be anxiety. He has an anxiety and panic disorder which he has been taking meds for. We went to talk to his dr about that and they are adjusting meds to see if we can control the anxiety better.
I did awful the past few days and the scales showed it again...
Today I have had an OP breakfast and lunch and will have an OP dinner and will go for a long walk. TIme to get this weight back off. I am making hubby go with me tonight..no reason for him not to exercise now.
thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers...
hugs and drink your water(im drinking mine )

I had my gallbladder removed a couple of years ago!!! My attacks were so severe! It felt someone was punching you in the front and stabbing you in the back.

My experience wasn't the greatest!!!! My first attack happened when I was cross border shopping in North Dakota. I thought I had indigestion...boy was I wrong!!! Then I had a few more attacks and went to the doctor. She confirmed it was gallbladder (stones). Went for a pre-op and at the hospital I went to didn't have a scale that went over 300lbs so they made me stand on (get this) THE SHIPPING SCALE!!!!! I weighed in at approx 348lbs. Talk about embarassing and humiliating!!!! So, the doctor set my surgery date for the next week. During that I booked off work, my fiance booked the day off to be with me, filled out my forms so I would get paid, everything was fine and dandy...UNTIL the guy that puts you under didn't feel comfortable since the table only holds 350lbs!!!!

So, then my doc made me an appointment for another hospital. Went to the appt and then they said would send me a letter saying when the appt would be...3 years past...still no letter and plenty of attacks. Then the last straw was when I had a MAJOR attack!!! One of the stones got stuck in my bile duct. The pain was so bad!! I went to the hospital were I was supposed to have surgery (the 2nd hospital), by this time I was having a 24hr/day attack for 2 days straight!! The triage nurse said I would have to wait atleast 6 hours for a doc and they would probably just send me home anyway!!! I got mad and left!!! They next time I was delerious in pain. My fiance took me to hospitsl #3 where they admitted me RIGHT AWAY!!! They gave me morphine to help with the pain. Then they kept me in all night so I could get an ultrasound the next day (I was stuck in the hallway on a bed and some lady asked me "Did you have twins?" and I replied "NO, I have gallstones"-I can laugh about it now...but then I was PISSED OFF).

So, in the end I had 2 appointments for surgery-the second hospital finally sent me a surgery date and the 3rd hospital as well. Turns out the doc that was supposed to do my "elective" surgery was temporarily taking the place for a cancer surgeon and wasn't doing any elective surgeries.

In the end, I got my gall bladder out, recovered and all is good now!!!

If you have to get surgery, hope its a better experience than mine!!

Sorry about that lengthy post....

Well, I have a had a stubborn cold for the past few days. I felt and still feel like crud!!!

I really hate catching a cold during the summer!!!! PLUS, this was my weekend off. I had tons of plans and things I wanted to do...but had to cancel them all. Although, I did go to the park today so my pugs could get a run in. Hopefully, if I'm feeling up to it I'll be going to the gym. The sauna will feel so nice.

lyndzro: Would a hospital be able to weigh you? It wouldn't hurt to ask OR go into walmart open up a scale and try it. I have seen people doing it lol. And if someone asks, just tell them you were thinking of buying one and wasn't sure if its what you wanted. I think the WW scales go up to or over 400lbs (I threw my box away). Good luck babe, we are all here for you!!!

azcyn: So far thats great news that he doesn't think its your heart!! My fingers are crossed that those extra tests work out as well!!!!

Torister: I hear ya babe!! I'm really dreading the hot, humid weather thats coming next week! I have been lucky here with below seasonal temps (for the last 8 MONTHS!!!)

dgramie: That is awesome news about your hubby!!! Congrats on getting back on track!!!

voodoo1: you are so lucky be taking care of a horse!! I just love animals!!! Your boys must have loved it!!

Hoping everyone is having an awesome weekend!!!

I don't feel so happy today, I weighed in on Friday & saw no loss AGAIN, 4 weeks-5lbs down!!!! I KNOW it can take time but I'm so fed up! I'm not giving up, though I felt like eating cakes, chips, ANYTHING CARBY. I've been OP and mowed the lawn (picking up after the dog...ick first) which made me feel better, lol!
Betty, SO glad I've never had gall bladder problems! It sounds horrendous, especially the hospitals sending you in circles!!! Have you any pics of your 'boys'? I love mos animals but dogs & horses are my faves, along with cats. Pugs are so comical & cute.
xxxxxsharon
ps Cyn hope you feel better soon, do you have a new house sorted out yet?xxxxxxx

REna: OMG!!!!!!!!!! about your horrible time with the gallbaldder!!! I have told a few "friends" about my pain and what is going on. One "friend" actually told me it can't be my gallbladder..it would hurt to the touch. Until I talked to 3 other people about it...I believed what she was saying. All 3 other people told me that their pain would come and go. My aunt said she didnt have stones..atleast not when they did the ultrasound. But when they did the dye test, that is when they discovered her gallbaldder was not working right. It was sluggish. I actually had a boss at work ( I have 3 of them lol) tell me that I can control my gallbladder with the correct diet. While this maybe true...if it's gotta coem out then so be it. Heck may not be my gallbladder at all, but I am glad atleast the specialist will check stuff out. My regular Dr just blames everything on my weight.

Sharon:We are moving into the house where my brother lives. I hope everything works out. I am sure that it will. The move in date is the only thing we are not sure of. But it will be either middle of sept or closer to oct 1st. I am actually excited. I will be 15 min from work instead of 45 min. I will also be closer to my sister and most of my family. This will also allow us to pay off some debt..and save for a house someday.

For me..more packing today..getting my hair cut..and getting my oldest son school supplies he goes back tomorrow. Our oldest does not start his college class until Sept!

Hey everyone. I've been quiet lately.

I'm feeling SUPER tired and I think it is my BC pills...I'm not sure yet, so I'm researching what I can do. I have been craving carbs again, but I am wondering is it carbs or protein. If it is, then I need to add more protein rich veggies and fats like avocados and nuts. Maybe that is what it is or at the very least can help.

I am watching Chelsea versus Man. United today, Soccer, and going to clean later. I hope everyone is well.

*HUGS*
