I felt the same too about doing one (I did the walking, not ready for running) - but the truth is there are all age levels (kids, teens, middle aged, seniors) and ALL types of fitness levels. Some people walk really fast, some at a leisurely pace and talk to their friends.
They are so much fun, and you will be so proud of yourself too
