Work out gear for plus sized
I saw the other thread of "Favourite Workout Gear" on the 100 lbs board and this made me want to ask for those of you that are bigger than what they sell at Walmart and other stores, what do you do for workout gear?
I would love to buy the workout gear at Walmart or Sears but problem is I am bigger than their biggest size available. So what do you do when your bigger than what's available? |
Old Navy has stuff..Of course you have to go to Old Navy.com

Target and Khol's hope this helps.

I noticed you are in Ontario. Have you tried Pennington's?

I second Junonia, even with the exchange their stuff is well worth it. Although I just bought some stuff from Land's End (landsend.com) and the one plus is that they ship it from over the Canadian border (so no customs, duty, etc.) and it came very quickly.
ETA - sorry, Land's End does add duty, but they do it when you order it. That way there are no surprises at the door. I remember in the past ordering something that came via UPS (who charged ~$35 + taxes to clear it through customs, when Canada Post charged $5). I prefer the no surprise way of shopping. |

Yeah Penningtons and Addition-Elle have quite a few things. I just find that they're a little overpriced when you can find the same sort of things at Walmart (they're there, but you have to look really hard sometimes.)
