Trying again

Hi everyone. I posted on here a couple times months and months ago. I figure it is time to get myself back into the game and really try to get myself healthy.

I promise to visit and post often and do all I can to encourage others!

Hi Firedust. Stick with us this time. Even if you stumble...don't go away. I have been where you are, and it sucks. I would join a weighloss group and quit after 2 or 3 days. I remember when I first started, (for real) my healthy diet, and I went to a support group I had booked marked a year previously. There was a girl I remembered because of all the supportive words she gave me. Low and behold, while I was waiting to live my life, she had lost 130 pounds, and was LIVING hers. It was a true turning point in my life.

I can't even begin to tell you about all the amazing things that have happened to my body by shedding a chunk of poundage. Don't give up. FIGHT for yourself. You are worth it. You ARE WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to echo Lori Bell's words. Don't wait for some other day, your life is now. Even if you blow it one minute, the next minute is new and fresh, a new opportunity for change. If it is in the past, let it be past and history.

Wow! You girls are all amazing!

I'm exhausted today from lack of sleep, so I clicked onto this forum this morning so that I wouldn't be temptedto eat from being overtired... it's working!

:welcome2: back we all fall off the wagon now and again the main thing is to hop right back on it and hang on for grim death ;) Seriously you have done the right thing starting back. In the past I have been on "diets" but I would cheat constantly then be upset when the scales did not go down. I would blame that on everything but the fact I had probably consumed at least a couple of chocolate bars a day. No one had seen me eat them so they didn't count but of course they did.

I am so glad that I have stuck with it and eventually got the formula right for me and here I am a lot lighter.

You can do this it is not a race to the finish line so some people will do it quicker than you but the main thing is to past that finish line because you are worth it
